Definitely the coolest and most interesting new place in Rochester! Where else can you throw axes in public ... and get cheered for it ?!! Oh that's right now where but here. Come here for fun come here a part of a league or come here on a date ... play competitively or just for fun it's whatever you wanna make of it. The staff is super knowledgeable and fun to hang out with and never a dull moment. The bar currently isn't open yet however they'll be open soon and then imagine that magic ... drinking and throwing axes at the same time

Had an amazing time!! I will definitely go back! I was visiting with friends and they brought us here. It was all our first time playing and we had a blast. The staff was great and helped us practice at first. Once we got the hang of it we played for an hour and a half and it went by so fast. Cannot wait to go back

I wanted to surprise my husband with the gift of an experience for Valentine's Day. I was researching and came across the idea of throwing weapons! Neither of us had done it before so I settled upon Bad Axe Throwing. I called ahead about 4 days to inquire about reservations. Since it was just the two of us, we couldn't reserve but could just go during their scheduled walk in times. We got there right on the dot at our scheduled time in the afternoon. When we entered, we filled out the online waiver, then we were walked back to ax throwing station #5 by a friendly host. He showed us the proper technique on how to hold, step, and throw. Also how to remove the ax from the wall. There weren't a ton of people, of that I was thankful (Covid) and we were really spaced out. We ended up having a ball. We were horrible in the beginning, but by the end of our hour, we were able to stick each throw and were even working on precision. Would totally go back!

8 of us managed to spend $600+ dollars in two hours on canned beer and ax throwing. I don't get it.

So I came here from Buffalo with my husband to meet up with some friends of his. I can't even begin…read moreto tell you how fun this was and how accommodating the owners are. If you've never tried axe throwing, make this the first place you go! Now, on to the details. My husband and I got here first, and to our dismay, the door to the building was locked. A quick phone call to the owner fixed this, however, as he came out forthwith to let us in. If yo have this problem, don't worry. They appreciate your business and won't leave you waiting that close to a cemetery. This space is pleasantly surprising. It's loud when you first walk in (because axes), but you get used to the noise quickly. There are 3 lanes and we reserved the middle one. Once our friends arrived, another owner came over and explained the rules of axe throwing in general and they game you can play. I learned a few things, including how terrible I am at axe throwing! The two people on duty (who I believe are the co-owners) were SO friendly and accommodating. One of the reservations didn't go through, so they allowed us to stay later than the end time and play another game. This prompted my husband to whisper "give them a good review." Like I wasn't going to already! This place is a hidden gem in Batavia. Run, don't walk, to place a reservation and get a bang for your buck! They even let us bring a pizza in, for crying out loud! Have fun and tell them the awkward blonde girl from Yelp sent you!
