The staff was welcoming, friendly, making the experience even better. The only downside was that our room was a bit noisy due to its location near the freeway (or possibly just where our room was situated). Other than that, everything was excellent, and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Beaumont.

We all booked rooms and the reviews did not lie! What a unique and amazing place this is! A beautifully decorated home that includes a pool, a movie room, shelves of DVDs and books, billiards and more games. You can choose which room to stay in and my husband and I chose the "Steampunk Room." The room was located in a tower apart from the house. It was so cool! The next morning we had a homemade breakfast and it was AMAZING! Our hosts made us feel right at home and were so kind. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, in fact we all wish we had stayed one more day!

Hilton Garden Inn Beaumont was super for the price, with a lobby restaurant so we didn't have to go…read moreout. Highway noise was minimal in spite of being very close to I-10. The room was clean, TV worked fine, staff were friendly and helpful, etc. BUT the third-party (not Hilton) reservation service (Reservations.com) was MISLEADING. We got fooled into believing we were dealing with Hilton, and later learned that we would get no cancellation privileges, Hilton stay points, free wi-fi, or other Hilton Honors privileges at two locations over seven nights of stays. (Fortunately, the nice folks at the properties where we stayed helped us with some of that.) If you want a direct Hilton (or other brand) hotel reservation, be SURE you're not making it through a third-party reservation service. They apparently pay Google to put their links above the hotel chain's links, then lead you to believe you're talking to Hilton, Marriott or another name brand. They also don't know anything about the property except what's on their script, so the info you get may not be accurate. The best thing to do is contact the hotel directly (where we would have gotten a lower rate and our travel points). We get that number everywhere we go, in case we want to stay there again. Next best is to go through the hotel company's website or reservation number. If you're on Reservations.com or some other third party website, READ THE FINE PRINT. If you're on the phone and not sure who you're talking to, ASK, and if it's a third-party reservation service, I suggest you hang up.

I stay here while my mother is in a care facility near by. I must say, I have never had a hotel…read moreroom that was completely tile/no carpet, but I loved it. The bed frame was metal and elevated off the floor, and the floor had no carpeting to speak of. As someone who travels quite a bit, This made the room feel cleaner and less stale, plus it reduces the chance of bedbugs. It also means it's easier to clean, which made me feel better about staying here. The Continental breakfast was delicious and the staff at the front were incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. One point of note that you need to be aware of. This hotel is used by a lot of blue collar workers for the refineries and other places. They can get a little bit loud in the evening but often are gone for work very early in the morning but often are gone for work very early in the morning. I had reserved a room for several additional trips to Beaumont and immediately cancelled them. The next day I checked my credit card and saw they had improperly billed me for a future stay that wasn't a prepaid stay... and I had canceled within the cancellation window. They refused to return the money for two weeks. I eventually had to dispute the charge for them to reverse it. Do not stay at this hotel!

Comfort Suites are usually budget friendly so I used my trust Yelp app to confirm and since I was charging it to my company I wanted to spend their money like I would spend mines. Check it was quick, I didn't have my motorcoach so parking wasn't an issue. I arrived about 3 am and the front desk staff was at her post and didn't mind my pop up. Before I booked online, it's has been my experience to ask because check in was actually 2 pm and some front desk staff are butt holes and hold to that technically. I couldn't get through when called because their number said no longer in service. When I arrived the dining staff was setting up for breakfast and the young lady who checked me in offered me what was out, that was VERY thoughtful. Even though I booked online my accommodations was as if I booked online as an Elite Member. I pressed my luck and asked if I could have the points, she stated she was sure and that the system would give them to me by my telephone number. I slept comfortably, upgraded to a suite, bed soft and comfortable, sheets quality and hot water. Aaaahhhh; the MCM Elegante Hotel. What can be said?…read more First, I'm quite certain it's the largest hotel in Beaumont; it's probably a "go to" for a conference or large event. I've stayed at this hotel multiple times over the past twenty years. The hotel has always been nice, but "just nice" if that makes sense; amenities on site (considering it's Beaumont) are impressive. A restaurant, a lounge/bar, gift shop, pool and the conference area give the hotel that "sophisticated feel". Most recently, my GF and I had a quick two night stay. Apparently, (according to other reviews) they experienced some damage from Harvey, and made some changes. The sculpture in the lobby and fish tank along the wall are a nice touch. I felt the lady that checked us in was not as nice as she could be. She wasn't rude, rather had a very short/"to the point"/"get the job done I wanna go home" attitude. Disappointed in the visible stains on the bedding of both beds the first night, and there were times we were unsure if the A/C was working well. Water pressure in shower and sink definitely lacking. Toilet continued to run unless you jiggled the handle... Look, brutal honesty here: I ended up here on a "Hotwire Hot Rate". For those that don't know about those: you pick a part of town, pick a hotel based on number of stars and customer feed back. You get a price break, "buying blind". You find out your hotel until AFTER you pay. Hotwire Hot Rate had me pay a little less than $100.00/night. Not sure I'd pay much more...

Upon check in, they offer complimentary cookies which were very good and soft. My favorite was the Turtle cookies, which was only made like one time since I was there. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. Once the front desk got accustomed to us being there for a while, they started acknowledging us (us as in my co workers and I) by last name. The room I had was a nice size considering my job paid for a room with 2 queen size beds. I'm not sure how often housekeeping wash the bedding sheets because I would have stains on them (that's why I always bring my own bedding). Housekeeping did an ok job at cleaning, they would fold my own bedding and make it nice and neat. Sometimes, they would put up my ironing board. However, one complaint I have about this hotel is the fact I had toilet issues. The handle would always get detached from the rod inside the toilet. I was constantly calling the front desk to send their maintenance to fix my toilet. It was pretty frustrating. But after a while, I learned how to fix the issue. Another complaint is the carpet, I think they need to pull up all the carpet and replace it. Some of the rooms I was in was heavily stained. Not sure how cost effective that is but just a suggestion. On my second to last night, I had a huge HUGE cockroach in my room. It was terrible. I told front desk but they didn't have any spray in the storage room so the security guard had to come in my room to scary the cockroach away, I have no idea where it went. I left a note/message for an exterminator to come and spray the room. The manager, Mary, told me the exterminator wasn't able to come out but made sure my room was sprayed. So in conclusion, I had an good experience here. Ms. Mary, Ms. Gail and Ms. Jerrica were all great staff!!
