Here today! The plan was to return to Houston Tx but Father Time had other plans for me. Comfort Suites are usually budget friendly so I used my trust Yelp app to confirm and since I was charging it to my company I wanted to spend their money like I would spend mines. Check it was quick, I didn't have my motorcoach so parking wasn't an issue. I arrived about 3 am and the front desk staff was at her post and didn't mind my pop up. Before I booked online, it's has been my experience to ask because check in was actually 2 pm and some front desk staff are butt holes and hold to that technically. I couldn't get through when called because their number said no longer in service. When I arrived the dining staff was setting up for breakfast and the young lady who checked me in offered me what was out, that was VERY thoughtful. Even though I booked online my accommodations was as if I booked online as an Elite Member. I pressed my luck and asked if I could have the points, she stated she was sure and that the system would give them to me by my telephone number. I slept comfortably, upgraded to a suite, bed soft and comfortable, sheets quality and hot water. I appreciate hotels that offer charging stations, that says they understand we're in the age of technology and need options to charge our many devices. Here today. I'm am only rating this hotel 2 stars because of one reason. Their over night clerk is rude and unprofessional. If you ask her to do anything to do with key cards she acts like you are inconveniencing her just by asking. She was very condescending when I asked her to reprogram my card twice in one morning because my card would not read. read more

I checked in and there was immediately a roach on the wall. Then I turn the air on and a bunch came out. They refused a refund but I did not stay I do not want to bring home any bugs. I would give less than one star if possible. read more

And earned the 3 stars because the gentleman (late late evening) was super pleasant and helpful i was concern about my vehicle, but he had stated that they had just upgraded there camera system. When you walk in the lobby has a pleasant smell and everything was neat and well organized. We have a suite with 2 queen beds and there is plenty of room to move around. They have an indoor pool, weight room with treadmills and a small conference room. read more

The initial customer service was very good. The tiny woman behind the counter helped us with the rate, dropping it a bit (it was 3am and we were staying for 5 days, so that's probably incentive to be nice, if you have an open room), and was overall very friendly. Subsequent front desk employees seemed a bit confused, but not unfriendly. We paid $89 a night, then a bit more for the last night, which we extended at the last moment. Not bad for walking in and paying cash. The two bed rooms are freaking enormous, I was surprised by that, and everything inside is new, so works well. They even included a foldout sleeper sofa. I guess that's why it was a "suite" instead of just a room, but the price felt more room than suite, to be honest. The AC will freeze you, even on 90 degree days. Everything was clean and felt new, the beds were soft, everything you'd expect was present (microwave, mini-fridge, toilet, etc). The wi-fi was very strong, fast, and free, and they also have Ethernet ports that you can plug in to, in the wall. Bring your own Ethernet cable, though, because they aren't provided. Also, and this is very important, considering this is Beaumont we're talking about, this hotel is in a really good location. It's near the Interstate, so it's easy to find, but it's the second hotel back. It's not in the ghetto, which is most of Beaumont, so that's a HUGE plus. Even if you don't stay in this particular hotel, knowing Beaumont like I do, I would highly recommend staying in this area, staying on the west/north side of the Interstate. Anyway, my only complaint about this place was that the keycards would stop working at least once a day. That was slightly annoying. And I mean BOTH mine and my friend's keycards, at least once a day, pretty much every day of our stay. We found it amusing, but I could see it being rageworthy to the seasoned traveler. The only other bad thing about this hotel is that it's not within walking distance of much of anything. Just a Sonic and a Jack-in-the-box. There are a few regular restaurants and a movie theater that aren't too far away, if you're willing to walk along the interstate, but it's really not in a very touristy location, if there is a such a thing in Beaumont. All in all, probably one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had, though it was one of extremely few. Oh, and careful driving into the parking lot, there's a pretty harsh dip that's hard to see, but traffic isn't so bad on Walden Rd that you can't wait to pull in slowly. read more

I think this hotel means well. The bed was clean and comfortable, and really, that's what a person doing a long-distance move is looking for after a long day of driving a U-haul. Pros: - the bed was clean and comfortable - the room was *quiet*, which may have been luck, but it was nice! - there were about 10 towels in the bathroom, which was plenty - the shower head had plenty of water - the parking lot could accommodate our 16ft moving truck - it was easy to get to from the interstate, but no road noise Cons: - upon arrival, we saw the parking lot covered in signs about theft, which was unsettling since we had everything we owned in the moving truck we parked there - the first room we tried had an overwhelming cologne smell - the second room (where we stayed) had a strong (but we were exhausted so we put up with it) jasmine smell - the room was kind of damp - the bathroom hooks were more or less falling off - there was no bathroom fan, so the bathroom was really wet. We weren't sure if the toilet was leaking or if that was just condensation puddling around it. read more

Very bad service ! We stayed there for the reason of the spa and pool, we were told they were open until 10 so we used the spa and it was NOT heated and the jets were weak!! When I called and talked to Britini and told her she said she was sorry. I asked to see if they could fix it and she said there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to someone higher up like a manger above her and she said she was general manager. So I asked who was above her and she said she was it except the owner. Then I asked for his information and she said she could not give that to me. Our room phones didn't work either. Then we woke up and we had no lights our power was out. I told them and some maintenance guy came and he didn't know where the breaker was or what to do. For Britini being a general manager she sure doesn't make sure her customers are happy. She at least should of know about the spa not working instead she said well it really isn't suppose to be open cuz of something, not sure what she was talking about. She said the website said it was closed and I said no it doesn't. And also she told us it was open until 10 pm when we called and all the signs had the hours posted as open until 10 pm. When we checked in at 8 pm she said the spa was open until 10 and we had plenty time she said. So this place was horrible and she was not good at her job and doesn't care!! Let's preface this by saying that the older African American lady at the front desk is WONDERFUL. The woman in charge of housekeeping is a nightmare. She rudely accused my son of playing in the elevators (he was confused about which floor we were on and rode them up and down because he could hear others in our party but couldn't find them) and while I understand that this might be annoying, there was no need for her to be rude about it. We then came back after loading up our car to find that housekeeping had already come in to our room and that cash (~ $50) I had left on the nightstand had been pocketed by someone (gee, I wonder who). One of our friends we stayed with jokingly formed a "body" out of pillows (it was Halloween) and when we went to the front desk to inquire about why housekeeping was already in the room, the "lady" in charge of housekeeping also blamed that on my son even though it was done by a 40-year old man () showing is she is pretty much an A-level a-hole. Stay here at your own risk. Don't leave your valuables out where she can find them, though. read more

Clean rooms and friendly staff. This is probably the cleanest hotel in the Beaumont area. The breakfast could be better and they need to take care of a mystery urine smell in the 2nd floor hallway. The smell was not in the room or we would have left or requested a change. The staff were all friendly and that was a plus. We would stay here again. read more

The place is clean and spacious. They have an indoor pool and spa that was over chlorined or they had painted the room with some dreadful paint. The breakfast was ok if you like eggs that are cooked way in advance. Also the coffee was the weakest we have ever tasted. read more

We were in need of a hotel at 12:30 am. We stopped at a couple others in the area and either they were booked or just outrageously expensive ($160 for 1 night!). The gentleman at the front gave us a great rate and even took $5 off. The room was very clean and spacious, which for a family of 5 is nice. I've stayed at other hotels and none have been as nice as this one. The staff was friendly! We missed the breakfast by 5 minutes which is our fault but it smelled delicious! Great place, clean and friendly staff. Room were big and very comfy beds. Only minus was the pool. Needs to have a key to get in placed on door. There was a group of 20+ that showed up and half were not staying at hotel. I saw one of them letting them in through a side door. Left pool early cause of the crowding and horse playing. read more

We stay here twice a month for baseball. Always nice and clean. The team loves staying here and the employees are always very patient.

First of all, the room itself gets 5 stars - it was clean, comfortable, and well appointed (also, the free wifi worked pretty well). The staff, however, get a 1-2 star. They were unhelpful in the extreme. First they tell me they have no rooms when I call (and the guy snapped it at me), then as I ask him further, it turns out they do, he just didn't want to deal with checking someone in so late (at 9pm), so I book it and he gets impatient on the phone when he can't hear me properly. The hotel itself gets a 3 star because it was nice and had elevators, but the pool and spa weren't working and the water pressure was terrible (almost no water came out at all). read more

If i could give it ZERO stars I would. We didn't even get to try the hotel out because we didn't get past the front desk screwing up. We had a softball tournament scheduled and had 12 rooms blocked and it got screwed up and our rooms were given away. Not once did anyone take responsibility for the screw up when the manager Keshon is the one who blocked it with one of our coaches. Whomever this ELIZABETH is, she should never work a job that deals with the public. SHE SUCKS AT IT!!! We booked at the La Quinta and had a very pleasant person named Amelia. I been had a room booked for over a month. The room was already paid for. When it came time to check in, I was denied a stay. The room was booked for 5 adults and we were not even offered to stay. Instead I was told that I would receive a refund and could not stay there even if my guests were coming from out of town and needed somewhere to stay. I was even told that if I were allowed to stay there and it was found that I was having guests in the pool, then the police would be called. All of this was told to me by an older black lady behind the desk. She was very rude and disrespectful! She even talked to me so loud that other guests could hear her. I tried talking in a normal time with her and she would cut me off everytime only to tell me that I was not allowed to stay at the hotel. This was my very first time visiting this hotel and it's definitley my last. Me being a Christian kept me from becoming angry with this very disrespectful lady that talked to me. I have never experienced this kind of disrespectful behavior from a hotel associate. I tried calling the headquarters to explain to them my experience,but I'm not even sure if the situation was ever addressed. I should've never had to experience this type of behavior if I did absolutely nothing wrong. I don't wish this disrespect on anyone. I pray that the customer service there gets better because I've told numerous people about the rude associate and to never visit this place. One of the most horrible experiences in my life! read more
