The open flow of the property allows for many themes and ideas for simple or very creative. The backdrop of the ocean for anytime of the day events plus all the colors of the sunset makes your event memorable. The best part of this venue are the hosts. They are genuinely filled with the aloha spirit that makes you want to stay there forever. Take it from me just BOOK IT! You won't regret it.

It has taken me nearly four years to feel ready to write this review. What should have been one of…read morethe most meaningful and joyful days of my life turned into a deeply distressing and, honestly, traumatic experience due to the conduct of this venue and their coordination services. We booked this business as our wedding venue and also hired the owner's wife as our day-of coordinator. From the beginning, there were multiple instances where expectations and agreements were not followed through on. One major red flag early on was when a private surprise I had planned for my husband--a hula performance--was disclosed to him by the coordinator just one week before the wedding. There was no accountability, apology, or acknowledgment of how inappropriate that was. Despite this, I chose to move forward with grace. On the day of the wedding, I communicated clearly about my arrival time so that preparations could be made. When I arrived, I was left waiting outside for approximately 20 minutes before being allowed in which I honestly didn't have an issue about but unfortunately, the experience escalated from there. The coordinator's behavior toward both myself and my bridal party was hostile, dismissive, and at times deeply disrespectful. Hurtful comments were made to me as a bride on my wedding day--comments that no one should ever have to hear in that moment. At one point, the electricity and generator to our preparation room were shut off, leaving us without fanning or lighting while getting ready. Immediately before walking down the aisle, the coordinator's husband intervened and required that his wife address me but it ended up being in a confrontational manner. This created an unnecessary and emotionally distressing situation right before the ceremony--an incredibly inappropriate moment to introduce conflict instead of support. Despite everything, I still walked down the aisle and had a beautiful ceremony. I truly thank God for the strength and peace I had in that moment, because I don't know how another bride would have recovered from that experience in real time. What's equally disappointing is that there was never a genuine apology or accountability afterward. The only statement made was along the lines of being "sorry that I felt that way," which is not the same as taking responsibility. There were multiple witnesses to everything that occurred, including individuals outside of my bridal party. Additionally, after the wedding, I was approached by other guests who shared that they had also experienced or observed concerning behavior from the coordinator during the event. That was especially disheartening, as it confirmed this was not an isolated experience. I share this not out of bitterness, but out of responsibility. No bride should have their wedding day compromised by the very people entrusted to support and facilitate it. While I do hope growth and change have taken place since then, I personally cannot recommend this venue or their coordination services. I would strongly encourage future brides to carefully consider other options to ensure they are fully supported, respected, and cared for on such an important day. If you're trusting someone with one of the most important days of your life, this is not a place where that trust may be honored. Update: After posting this review, I received a response from the owner. This experience took place under their ownership and leadership, regardless of location. The impact of that day was deeply emotional and, for me, truly traumatizing. It took me years to feel ready to speak about it. While I respect that things may have evolved--and I pray they have--I still felt there was a lack of genuine acknowledgment or accountability for what occurred. Growth and change do not erase or cancel my experience. I share this from a place of honesty so others can make informed decisions, and I do appreciate them taking the time to respond.

You'll hear stories about Hawaii 5-0 filming on location, but the star-studded notoriety pales in comparison to the way Sooz and Richard make you feel at home, whether it's your wedding, special event, birthday party, or other intimate occasion. Steps from the water, you can hear and feel the ocean lapping at the shore while you enjoy the sunset on the sand or watch a movie under the stars. And be prepared to have fun, because Sooz and Richard know how to throw a party. The 60s party is one of our particular favorites! Finally, Yogi will be there to greet you, tail wagging and a gentle smile on his adorable face... This is our absolute favorite place for an event, with Auntie and Uncle we adore...We so recommend checking out the place for yourself!

So our wedding was a 5/5 experience but management is definitely old school and could use a lot of work. There is no texting, only a landline, and an email to work with. Good luck reaching anyone via email. To have a 6 hour wedding with 50 people, it costs roughly 10k for the space (about average when you factor in lighting, furniture and seating at other venues) but you have to pay for you own prep time. Only an hour is complimentary, so if you want to add any personal touches at all you basically need to pay for that time. Considering you're paying 10k, the fact that one is not allowed to leave decor at the venue is super unreasonable. There was no event going on the day prior except for our own rehearsal. So we were to bring everything we could on our own day of, and beg our wedding planner to help. They claimed it was for "liability purpose" yet I was allowed to leave my dress grossing 2800 at the venue and not my $10 box of flowers... and the lightning that was already hanging cost $750 to allegedly rehang. Who knows why that needed $750. There were claims that there was not enough space to leave any belongings or purchase enough chairs for my guests, but from what I can see it's just badly organized. There's a massive stack of CDs in front of the bridal room coated with so much dust you can barely read the titles. There's all kinds of knick knacks everywhere by the piano. The dust in the bridal room is bore line scary when you look closely, the chandelier had dead flowers and cobwebs. The frames are coated with dust. Again, the wedding itself was beautiful but for 10k you'd think someone could be paid $200 to come in there to clean. I sincerely have no idea what my 10k went towards since the Morgage on the house is non existent according to Zillow. Emails were rarely answered in a timely manner, which is tough if you're a bride organizing almost everything. and their sweet sweet dog who was advertised as a ring bearer apparently only performed this service one time prior and got side tracked and pulled my flower girl into the bushes. I love that kind of silliness and don't blame the dog one bit. But it certainly feels like false advertising to say that this dog is willing to do the service but come day of my planner told me of all the weddings she'd aided there, she's never seen it happen once. We had a great wedding, but it's massively overpriced for how little effort is going in on the home owner's end. A beautiful scam. 3 stars for my guest's wonderful experience but not to my own chaotic one.

You may grab food at Foodland or a nearby venue and return while they are getting you set up. They have a practice putting green in the entry area with many putters for sale. The shop has quite a nice set up for not being a large retail shop, it is pretty small considering the space is used to golf and improve your game. Everyone working there is very helpful and friendly! They have TV monitors and in case something isn't working properly or technology glitches, they are available to troubleshoot & fix it right away. With all of the equipment to support you, they also sell it, like grips, at low costs and can regrip your clubs while you play or wait. You may also leave your clubs and pick them up later. The restaurant has built a reputation over the years for combining local ingredients with contemporary culinary techniques in a relaxed but polished dining environment. The dining room has a warm and comfortable atmosphere with soft lighting and a classic restaurant layout that feels welcoming rather than overly formal. Service is attentive and knowledgeable, with staff who are familiar with the menu and able to guide diners through the restaurant's signature dishes. One of the highlights is their well-known Miso Butterfish, a dish that demonstrates excellent technical control. The fish is cooked delicately, resulting in a tender texture that almost melts when eaten. The miso glaze provides a balanced combination of sweetness and umami without overpowering the natural flavor of the fish. Another standout is their Blackened Ahi, which showcases strong searing technique. The crust formation is well executed while maintaining a rare interior that preserves the quality of the tuna. The seasoning is bold but balanced and pairs well with the accompanying sauces. The 3660 House Salad also deserves mention. While simple, it highlights freshness and thoughtful preparation, with a light dressing that enhances the ingredients rather than masking them. Across the meal, the kitchen demonstrates consistency and strong command of cooking fundamentals. Ingredients are fresh, sauces are balanced, and plating is clean and composed. Overall, 3660 On the Rise delivers a refined yet approachable dining experience that continues to stand out in Honolulu's restaurant scene. The combination of ingredient quality, technical execution, and thoughtful flavors makes it a destination worth visiting.
