It helps restaurants get rid of food that would otherwise be thrown out at the end of the night or at least drive in more business towards the tail end of business hours. I've noticed only a few places have signed up in the nearby area. I've been here a few times. It's a nice place! Puerto Rican food is good! Please bring your own bag. Wish me luck! The rice bowl was surprisingly really great though. I loved the combination of chimichurri sauce, mayo-ketchup, and pico. The meat was a little over cooked but really nicely spiced. My partner also liked his chicken wrap. It was a good size, well filled, and tasted good. He said it didn't taste much different than a Mexican burrito though. We definitely would return for our mains, just never getting the empanada again.

It's very much an order and run place. I don't know the cuisine well, so I asked the server to curate me a plate and I bought everything they recommended. I got their lunch special, two empanadas, a potato ball, and some flan. Got my to go containers then took them home for pics. Everything was seasoned and had its own distinct flavor. The potato ball was wrapped in a seasoned pastry and stuffed with a meat mixture. It also had a spicy mayo which gave it some richness and a little zip. That was a great bite. The stewed beef reminded me of a beef stew meat. Stewed in tomato and celery, fork tender and pretty good. The pork was tender but dry, the mayo from the potato ball helped in that matter. The sweet plantains were a nice reprieve from the heavy meats, the yellow rice was cooked in stock which made the rice a flavorful filler. The beans were more like a soup, not my style but still good. The flan was firm but the syrup was lightly sweet. A nice sweet treat for the end of a meal. I saved the empanadas for a later meal. But they look good. The price for everything was 24, which is actually quite affordable for the amount of food you get. It's simple food done well in ample portions and priced well. It's a great option for the area, with the only detractor being that it's not in the best location and unless you know what you want it's not the easiest menu to navigate. It's worth a try!

And the jerk sauce was beyond,beyond- exquisitely sweet and incredibly spicy, just as it should be. I would highly reccomend Paradise. That said, I paid $19 for this breakfast with a lime juice. While it was fresh and a good portion, I've had better Tres Golpes at other Dominican restaurants. Overall, it was a decent meal. I was remiss to find the three meats in my sandwich, and there was a lot of veggie. The taste was ok, so I didn't opt to complain. The buenelos was a singular ball, not bad in terms of flavor but not matching the menu. The empanada was a lot of chickpea, almost as much as a samosa. Not bad but not great. For the price, it's hard to say anything lived up to the promise. It's not bad food, but it's nothing like the menu.
