As soon as I walked through the doors at Amici, the ambiance made me feel transported back to those wonderful places I remember from so long ago. It was a feeling of comfort, familiarity, and cravings for all the deliciousness housed within. The bread counter on the left was the first stop where I picked up a marble rye and some hoagie rolls. The staff were extremely friendly with suggestions and slicing up the loaf we got. Then it was on pick up two small tomato pies, which are a box of tasty goodness. Had to grab a couple of the biggest pickles I've ever seen. And we couldn't get out of the door without grabbing a small selection of cookies. Sadly I didn't get a chance to taste any of their sandwiches but the menu had my mouth watering. They offer a good selection of pastas, sauces, and other products both sweet or savory. All in all, you cannot go wrong making Amici a regular stop of your own.

It's really a rather small shop with one side being the bakery and the other the deli. 10/10 their cannolis. It's hard to find any bakery that stuffs them fresh but they do! I like that that carry items from other bigger Italian markets like Corropolese and Talluto's. This time around I ordered some sandwiches to go and my dad was super impressed with the Italian hoagie I ordered for him. All the sandwiches come with pickles. You do have to pay extra for hot peppers. The staff is nice and the place is always clean, I'd be interested to try more of their sandwiches as they had a pretty decent menu. Definitely a nice spot in the middle of a Lansdale strip mall.

The Highlights: Banchan & Sides: Every order comes with a massive spread of mini dishes (kimchee, pickled veggies, radishes, dips, and a salad that was surprisingly amazing). The Pan-fried Mandu were also crazy good. Almond Honey Garlic Chicken: Extraordinarily crispy, flavorful, and downright delicious. The Meats: We tried the Tomahawk Steak, Berkshire Pork Jowl, and the Marinated Boneless Prime Short Rib. Everything was cooked to perfection, but if you only get one thing, make it the Marinated Boneless Prime Short Rib. It's incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and an absolute must-order. Minor Tip for Couples: The portion sizes are massive and definitely geared toward groups of 4 or more. The chicken appetizer alone was huge enough to be a standalone dinner for one (with leftovers) or a shared starter for a table of 4 to 6. Smaller "mini-app" options for parties of two would be a great addition, but we were more than happy to take home a ton of delicious leftovers! Can't wait to go back!

Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 3/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 4/5 Parking - Private Parking Lot Atmosphere - The restaurant is nothing special and decorated very minimally. That said, everything was clean, which is always appreciated. Service - The service is excellent. The staff cooks the food for you at the table. While I personally prefer to cook the food myself, having the staff handle everything made the experience feel a bit rushed. What We Ordered - Steamed Egg - which was good Tofu Stew - which was good Beef Tartar - which was very good Pork Belly - which was okay Galbi and Marinated Galbi - which were very good Final Thoughts - The food is solid, but the prices are quite high compared to other Korean restaurants I have been to that offer similar quality. The service is what really stood out here, with friendly and helpful staff.

This was not a problem because I was able to order just what I wanted - brisket and ribs. Both were excellent! I chose to "fatty sliced" brisket (instead of chopped or "lean sliced". Very good flavor and just enough fat to make it juicy. The ribs were lean and full of meat. Wister's offers two flavors of BBQ sauce Abe their hot version was my favorite hands down. It was spicy and flavorful without an extreme amount of heat. Because I ordered so much meat, I only had one side dish - the mac and cheese - which was also very good. The server was warm and friendly and treated me like a "regular" even though it was my first visit. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Although I dined inside (it was a bit chilly), I will return when it is warmer because the outdoor dining looked appealing. Lastly, there was ample parking, so no problem there.

The food was definitely well-smoked but lacked depth. It wasn't bad, but it only tasted really good when dipped in their sauce. The best meat was the brisket -- it had the most flavor. Our least favorites were the sausage and pulled pork. Overall, the meat was very tender and has great potential.

Giant's Hatfield location is a complete disaster. I strongly advise against visiting this store. I…read moreused to be a loyal customer, but this visit was the final straw. The most frustrating thing is the constant presence of expired products on the shelves. You have to be extremely vigilant when checking the dates on everything you buy. The produce section is a joke--rotten produce is everywhere, and gnats are crawling all over the place. It's a nightmare to find fresh meat that hasn't expired the day before. And here's the kicker: despite the pictures showing no registers open on a Sunday morning at 8:30 am. It's all self-checkout, and the line is so long that it's impossible to scan items without the register sending an alert. I had a full cart, and it was a nightmare trying to scan each item individually without an employee to assist me. Meanwhile you have 25+ employees around the store fulfilling online pickup orders, two employees filling the lottery machine, and no one in customer service. How do you operate a grocery store with checkout lanes closed on the busiest day of the week on a Sunday at 8:30am? I ended up going to ShopRite down the road because Giant either didn't have the item I was looking for or the product was expired. To my surprise, ShopRite had five registers open, and the produce looked much fresher. Plus, the items I was looking for were not expired.

Who 98% of the time are rude anyway. Plus things the store used to stock are no longer brought in yet the item was out many time in the past. Now they have taken away 8 to 10 premium parking spaces for pick up customers. As seniors they are causing us to walk farther to get into the store for people that do even enter the building. Time to start shopping at shop rite
