This place is perfection.. As good as it gets.. I am one of those fancy NYC chefs that was here on vacation.. I was staying maybe 25 minutes away and made a point to go here regularly.. The finest qualities meats cut to order.. The staff is friendly, informative and professional. These guys are like the real deal, old school, pro's.. If this place was in Brooklyn, i would choose this place over any butcher shop I can think of. I bought the pork chops, fantastic. the skirt steak, beautifully marbled. I bought the lamb chops so damn good.. I bought the chicken, the rabbit, the sweet breads.. All just just as good as you can get. This place is outstanding! The customer service is top notch.. very friendly and accommodating. Didn't look at me like an idiot when I attempted my first ever butcher shop order. I picked up 2 NY strips, 20 lbs of chicken breasts, a pack of bratwursts, 2 smoked pork chops, a tomato, spicy mustard, and landjaegers, but I think I screwed up there because I never got them. I suspect you're supposed to grab them yourself, but- again- I'm a novice butcher store customer. My total was around $84. The steaks were the first thing to be eaten. Oh. My. Word. So ridiculously fresh and flavorful. Next up, we had the chicken. They packaged each breast individually, which makes it a breeze to pull a couple out of the freezer and cook em up. The best part?! The texture isn't weird and "woody" like most store bought chicken breasts these days. They are neatly trimmed and the flavor is fantastic. The smoked pork chops were so, so moist and the smoke flavor was out of this world! I need to go back and buy more because my toddler and I housed them in no time. I haven't gotten into the brats yet, but I have no doubt that they'll be delectable. The tomato was fresh and juicy in the middle of March. The spicy mustard is Kelchner's, which is always great. Their selection of items- both items made on premise and outside vendors- are plentiful. Penn dairy milk, various jarred and baked goods. They offer a huge selection of meats, which you can find a list of on their website. They do weekly specials, so you can plan accordingly for what you intend to pick up each trip. This is a real old fashioned place with great quality, local meats cut to order. The quality and flavor of their products are easily distinguished from the meats we used to buy at the Grocery Store. Has to be some of the best bacon I have ever had. My last trip there, I bought 2 pieces of filet mignon and a strip steak. Both were delicious and tender. Almost don't want to write a review, but looks like the secret is already out. Only been here 4 times in past 6 weeks. The beef is so flavorful. Although have only had the filet and ribeye. The chicken wings are 2-3 times the size of what you get at a grocery store, and they have whole briskets for us weekend smokers. There sweet Italian sausage was great as well. The pre-made frozen burger patties are delicious as well. They slice everything to order as mentioned in the other reviews. Really nothing else like it around. read more

I spent $50 on a 2 lb rib eye steak and was told it was "upper choice". Cooked it on the grill with our new meter thermometer to the correct temperature for medium rare. The steak looked great, but chewed like leather. We had to cut it into micro pieces just to keep from choking. Will not be coming back! read more

We've been in Bucks Co for 2 years. I have visited every butcher, beef-pork-chicken farm within 25 miles of Doylestown. Haring Bros. is hands down the best shop I've been. I mark sure to get there every Saturday for my weekend feasts. There is always a line, that's to be expected because this place rocks. The ground sirloin, as good as when I grind it myself. Country Ribs, crazy meaty good...hhhhmmmm ribs. Chicken - whole, breasts, legs, doesn't make a difference. Fresher than Bell n Evans and half the price. Pig heads, chicken hearts, rabbit, livers or bones for my pup, they have it all. Unbelievably courteous staff. A place as busy as this doesn't have to have engaging and plain nice guys, but they do. A reflection of the ownership, history and why I'll always go back. read more

They sell the best prime rib. And their cooking instructions are perfect. And their corn is some of the best I've ever had.

It does not get better than this place for dry aged steaks and great quality meat. I always enjoy going to Haring brothers because they are so friendly and help me with the right meat selection for what I am trying to make. I have not had a better Porterhouse anywhere. You can't beat the selection and freshness of meat. I like to get two 1.5 inch thick Porterhouse steaks and feed about 4 adults and some kids. The dry aged meat is so tender and full of flavor. I have had many of their sausages and prefer the hot Italian best. The bacon can not be beat and is sliced to order. My wife likes it sliced thin and they accommodate all requests. They also give my kid a slice of cheese whenever I go which makes them love going. Check this place out. You will not be disappointed and will not go to a chain grocery store for your meat again. read more

Just before New Year's Eve we decided to try out Haring. We really wanted to give them a good review but we had a horrible experience. Not with the staff, they were very friendly and very helpful. However, we bought T bone steaks for New Year's Eve and they were beyond terrible. Very tough. It was upsetting because we hadn't had that cut of beef in a very long time and were so excited to go get fresh t-bones for that special occasion. T bones are normally my favorite cut of beef. My husband cooked them perfectly on the grill (medium rare as we like it) but they were really chewy and tough. So disappointing. I tried reaching out to the owner by email the next day but he did not respond. I would have been ok if he offered us a replacement. They were very expensive to be that bad. We also bought bacon which was ok but expensive for how fatty it was, and sweet sausage which I will say, was excellent. So at least had one thing I would consider rebuying there. read more

Purchased a portion of beef from a farmer friend. When I asked about braciole, Haring Bros said I could get that instead of London Broil. When I opened the braciole, it was a beautiful sight! 4 thin pieces for each flank ready to roll without any pounding necessary. Made a filling using the pesto from all the basil coming in this time of year and it was super delicious. Have never been a fan of London Broil, but the braciole was to die for! read more

Ok. If you're going to say 'ew' about variety cuts and offal, just stop reading now. Haring Brothers is a cook's paradise! This is where I go to get tongues, sweetbreads, kidneys, oxtail, you name it! Everything is clean and beautifully packed. It takes me a good hour to get there, but it is time well spent! read more

Even bought half a cow and shared it with a friend and this place did the butchering, sorted it into cuts all packaged very carefully then helped me load it into my car. Fantastic buther shop. Just great. Bring out the part of the animal your piece is to come from, and cut off the part you want right in front of your eyes. Could not be fresher. We had a steak from them that I believe could have been the tastiest steak (for shame, eating red meat!!!) ever, even better than from a good steak house. Whereas some buther shops cut steaks before you get there and leave them in the display case, these guys cut it when you walk in. Love this place. read more

I love coming here! The service is excellent and the meats are so fresh! Kids love their white American cheese sliced thin, they'll slice it however you like it though! We've gotten their filet too and it cooks up beautifully for those special occasions!
