Usually, whenever we need fast food in Wasilla, we choose DQ. Up until now, the food has always…read morebeen great, and their customer service typically far exceeds the McDonald's next door. On top of that, the food usually tastes better and feels like a much better value--you can generally get three times the amount of food for a third of the price. Unfortunately, this visit didn't meet their usual standards. We ordered a large fry and never received it, and we were given the wrong burger, as shown in the photo. The burger we did receive looked like the mayo gun exploded on it--there was easily a full cup of mayo (not exaggerating) and it was missing the crispy onions entirely.

I ordered the fish sandwich, with onion rings and a large Diet Coke. My wife ordered the grilled Chicken Salad. We shared our drink. The fish sandwich was a large breaded Cod filet on a bun with a slice of cheese and tartar sauce. It was flavorful, nicely breaded and well cooked. The cheese could have been melted more, and it would have warmed the sandwich better. The cheese was a cool slice with a lukewarm bun. The onion rings were over cooked and very crunchy to the point of breaking in pieces. Not the worst I have had but definitely in the fryer too long. I want to return and try the same sandwich again for comparison. I am a fan of DQ mostly of their ice cream . So my meal ordering is limited. My wife's salad according to her was great. An ample amount of grilled chicken that was well cooked, seasoned and tasty. The vegetables were fresh, crisp and excellent. She ordered the vinaigrette but it was out so she selected an Italian dressing. I would recommend this business for their ice cream and food items. Friendly and efficient service and cleanliness with a high volume of drive through customers.

Really welcoming and I liked how the bar area is central to the dining area. I ordered the halibut tacos with rice and beans. It was really good except the fish needed salt and the veggies on the bottom make the tacos soggy and they fell apart easily. I recommend the veggies on the top so the corn tortillas can handle it. And toast the tortillas. The rice was good and I liked the toasted flavor. It was a solid place to go. The staff was so friendly.

We also bought another carboy 5 gallon jug for $25 LOCALLY. Well they bought out my last review, the date stamp is missing but everyone else's is there... So it's been 6+ years and wanted to review the store again. It still sucks. It's still over priced. All proceeds go to their church and NOT the community. I was hopeful, truly that they and turned their stuff around. But nope. There are things they think are high price items, $48 for a carboy when we just got one locally for $20. Identical! But because they looked on eBay and Shopify or what ever they think they can over price it. Still shady. Bishops Attic and turn a leaf help locals. Not this place. If they truly helped locals their prices wouldn't be so high. They are in it for the money only. So much for "Christian" values. You warship the $. Also sharing my original they had removed.

We have been loyal customers of the Deuce ever since we moved here two years ago…read more It is one of the better second hand stores. There's not much to it. Folks donate junk they don't want, we show up and buy it. Charities benefit. If they've over priced, we decide how badly we want it and factor in that all proceeds benefit a cause. This store is really well organized with a huge variety of junk. Prices are great, especially for clothes. They have a massive dvd and book collection. Even a nice selection of Alaska based writings. Take care, remember it's donated stuff other people didn't want. Sometimes that means damaged or in need of repair. Buy accordingly. I know it's for a cause, but there are times when it's fun to dicker, especially when something's broke and so are we! I've bought cool shot glasses, growlers, tools and OSU Buckeye dolls. I've even found my favorite candy bars at a nice price. Even at their peak the line moves quickly so it's a very efficient process. The folks are fun to deal with, super friendly! 08/23
