I am handicapped and have trouble ambulating. I liked they had a gift store connected to the restaurant and - in reality - this is why we chose it - shop and rest. I ordered a combo (chili relleno, enchilada, and taco) and my sister ordered chili relleno. Hands down the chili relleno--they were fresh and not greasy. Plus I liked they were not smothered in sauce. You can order this way but we chose not to and I am glad. People were friendly and service was good. Just like mom's....normally when I leave Mexican restaurants, we look for ice cream to help settle our stomach but this is not the case. So if you have a sensitive stomach, this is a good place to go because the food is good and it does not feel heavy in your stomach. Food was definitely home made with local Hatch Chile flavors. Other diners were feasting on very large bowls of homemade green Chile stew, tacos, and burgers.
