My daughter's pediatrician's office closed. I was looking for a new office and called Hatboro Peds. They said they were accepting new patients and to bring her records over. I went in person with my daughter's records and they said they would not see her due to her age. She is 16 soon to be 17. They basically told me she is too old and they didn't want her as a patient. Yet she is too young to go to our family practice doctor. She is still a minor. Very disappointing! Maybe they should start saying they are accepting new patients under the age of 16! read more

I have had so many issues with the billing here, from the time I started to a year and a half AFTER I left! I am no long with this office after the billing issues, I've been in touch with the BBB, it was resolved. so I thought. 6 months after I was promised billing issues were resolved, I got another bill. and they are demanding I pay for it? I will be in touch with the BBB again. oh and they left me and my sick child in an office room for over an hour because they forgot about us. find a different office! read more

After 10 years with her office, I am SO disappointed in Dr Jennifer Coren of Hatboro pediatrics. After my son's 16 year annual physical he was so excited to get his driver's learning permit. I was told to bring the form for them to sign off, as your pediatrician needs to certify that you don't have any condition that will interfere with your driving. We called the day of his 16th birthday, right before we planned to go to the DMV, and Dr Coren's office said to bring the form in. When we arrived we were told Dr Coren would not sign it because my son had a medical marijuana card. So now my son either could not get his driver's permit or we had to find another doctor to sign it. My son would not be permitted to drive under the influence so I am really confused as to why she would not sign the form. The state is well aware that he has a card - they issued it. There is no logical or legal reason for this doctor to prevent my son from getting his permit.  Nobody but the doctor who does his physical can sign this form saying that he does not have a condition that will interfere with his ability to drive . When I asked the office manager for an explanation, she said she would speak with Dr Coren and call me the next day. Well, she did not call me the next day, and when I called two days later she refused to take my call or call me back. I am really sad for my kid and really disappointed in this unexplained and unjustified position by Dr Coren.  We ended up going to another doctor and had to pay out of pocket for a physical because insurance will only pay for one a year. I don't what happened to you Dr Coren but this was not okay. read more

Staff are rude. Nurse practitioner doesn't listen or help. When your pediatrician is more concerned listening to themselves and dismissing the proof/ experiences that the parents are explaining THERE IS A PROBLEM. We recently moved into the area and chose this practice from CHOP (where doctors listen and give constructive feedback/ solutions) due to heating good things. Unfortunately, we have not experienced any of the good things. I hope our experience gets better but after 3 consecutive bad visits, it May be time to switch again. So frustrating! ‍ read more

Place is really arrogant now since being on the news for covid center . They bill you for saying hello to them. They bill you for everything you can imagine and when you call to ask why they billed you for these items , they say call your insurance . We just left the practice . Family of 4. Wanted to mention Allison specifically since we have seen her so often lately, she is FANTASTIC, we love getting her. She always explains everything in detail and makes sure we agree with the plan . I love Dr. Coren and her nurse Jaclyn. Our son was born 2 months premature and had a long NICU stay. Dr. Coren always takes her time with us and makes sure we understand everything before we leave. She's always smiling, friendly, and down to earth. She'll answer any silly question i have (first time mom) and not judge me or make me feel stupid for asking. I truly feel she cares about our son and isn't in the field for the money. I did have a visit with another Dr. at the practice. She was also very sweet. But i was not fond of her MA/nurse. We went for a weight check and you take the diaper off for this. Jaclyn will always give us another diaper/wipe after weight check. This MA/nurse just left us standing there. I had to walk my naked infant back to the room and change him. Stupid little stuff like that matters to me. But I'll just make sure to have all my appts with Dr. Coren and Jaclyn. And the office is set up with a sick waiting room and a well waiting room. But with Covid 19... we haven't encountered the waiting room or reception staff yet. read more

I'm new to the area, and need a pediatrician for my toddler. A new acquaintance suggested this practice. At my first visit, they were very insistent that I authorize them to give my child the Covid vaccine. When k started to question them about the fact that children do not face serious health consequences from Covid, yet the vaccines are only authorized for emergency use, they dismissed me like I was a fool. There is no emergency happening, and this vaccine is not safe and effective. There is no doubt in my mind that they gave an agenda, and it is not about what is best for my child. Never going back. Very sad that they are choosing to push an untested shot on children to get a monetary kickback from big pharma. The level of health care is appalling. These doctors are not advocating for kids, they are injecting them with untested poisons and not advising parents of the fact they'll have no recourse if their child becomes ill from this shot. There is ZERO liability from the manufacturers. How is that okay?! They are in no way allowing parents to be educated on the side effects, they are only bullying them into getting it. They should be ashamed, these Children are now going to be lifelong patients because the doctors are knowingly injecting them with poison. Based off the services and bedside manner of Dr. Cohen and Dr. Sloan I would be giving a 5 star. When it comes to the staff at the front desk particularly Christina, I would give an unfortunate 0 if I could. I manage a medical business myself and know that the front desk is my biggest opportunity to allow for a warm welcome and is the face of my business and doctors. We have been taking our daughter here for 3 yrs now since they were the only pediatrician that took our New York based insurance. We were then trying to move our son over since we've always had a great experience. Unfortunately our sons' past pediatrician was a huge let down with keeping track of his visits and were missing information (no EMR in place) in his chart. I completely understand needing completed records or at least the vaccination records. My issue was the attitude and lack of assistance provided by Christina. Since September I've been trying to get my son transferred and kept being told by her that they were missing vaccine records for years that I've since confirmed today they did have. From the moment I walked in today my husband and I over heard her speaking to another associate about a patient on the phone that she did not care to help leading the other associate frustrated having to assist them herself. When trying to get information today on what else we could do to retrieve records (after Dr. Sloan stated all we needed was at least the vaccine records they already had) she continued with an arrogant attitude and continued making smart remarks. The head supervisor even seemed as if he lacked control over the situation when I asked to speak to someone else. All that did was anger Christina and he allowed her to speak above him when my husband asked a question. With our daughter having such a history with asthma it's sad that we may have to transfer her so that both our children may see the same pediatrician. Again the pediatricians are awesome and attentive. Im our opinion we would just prefer not to have someone intimidate us with an aggressive mannerism. read more

The doctors are amazing. The process of getting in for your appointment is horrible. You can call and schedule one. They are super good about same day visits for sick kids. It's what comes after. You get a text to confirm the appointment. Easy right? Next is a text to check in. You have to fill out a bunch of crap. Then you get a call later to review everything. You get another text just before the appointment. THERE ARE NO WAITING ROOMS ANYMORE. You have to wait in your car. Super frustrating experience. They site infection and security concerns for not waiting area. The amount of times you need to confirm the same info for one appointment is a joke. They were amazing before they started all this nonsense. Reviewing the same info several times and then again when you get there is insane. They have no plans of changing this. I asked. You also now need to agree to their vaccination schedule or they can decline you as a patient. I am all for having my kids vaccinated but I also want a choice to say no if that's what I choose. A whole lot of you need to do this or we won't keep you as a patient. This practice was never like this. Seriously considering switching. read more

We cannot say enough good things about Hatboro Pediatrics! Every staff member there is amazing, although we are partial to Dr. Coren and Rosa. We have been taking my now 11 month old there since he was born. When we took him home from the hospital he was dehydrated (orange in his urine) from not getting enough milk (my breastmilk wasn't in yet) and I called the Hatboro Pediatrics emergency number up crying (first time mom here) and Dr. Amoia immediately calmed me down and told me what to do. AND she called to check on him the next day. So great. Since then we've been there countless times for well check and sick visits. They listen to all your concerns and check the child thoroughly. You can also call the office with any questions you have. I have called many times since I'm a worrier. We had to take my son to the ER for dehydration from the flu and they called the next day to check on how he was doing. We had to take him to the pediatric urgent care another time when he was sick and again they called the next day and wanted to see him. I love this practice. I feel comfortable with my son in their care and know they know what they're doing. I recommend them to everyone, in fact a few of our friends and family recommended them to us. I honestly give side eye to anyone who takes their child to any other doctor. read more

I have been going to this practice since 2016 with my first baby girl! They are amazing! Every doctor is patient, kind, knowledgeable and takes the time needed to assess and answer questions ( as a first time mommy I had plenty). All nursing staff and front desk ladies are great! I love how they allow you to schedule appts months in advance they make it easy to get the appt times that you need! Sick visits have never been a problem to get and they even have a separate entrance for them! They have toys galore for children to play with while they wait to be seen! I now have a second Baby girl that I take here and I wouldn't trust anyone else but the ladies here with the health and care of my children! read more

After two years at the practice I can't say enough amazing things about the practice- specifically Dr. Coren. She has an amazing rapport with children, takes the time to really connect, no matter what and makes very sound medical decisions. She also focuses on quality and medical safety measures, upping the game with new research. Every time we see her I am just blown away that we were able to find someone so amazing. This place is amazing! A lot of people on here give it 1 star without telling both sides of the story or for some personal issue, but that doesn't do this place justice. Everyone here is extremely helpful, always caring, and kind. Being a patient here myself, I can say that I have always been treated respectfully and very well. I absolutely LOVE this pediatricians office! My family and I see Dr. Sloane and she is spectacular! I am a first time mom, and she saw my son since the day he came home from the hospital. She has never made me feel that my questions are stupid and she is always there when I call to ask questions! From the nurses and receptionist every person is so pleasant and caring! It's so nice to come into a facility not feeling like a burden because your child is sick. Hatboro pediatrics is the only place I will recommend to my friends and family with newborns. read more

Called the office this morning because my son has been showing increasing s/sx of thrush, common in breastfed babies. Office is closed today, but after hours msg prompted me to notify on call doc. Dr. Coren responded to my call within minutes and was very caring and understanding. She called in prescription right away to our pharmacy and was very precise in explaining exactly what I should do and made me feel 100% better. Stay far away! I rarely put out reviews but my wife and I were appalled at the service and treatment of this office. During my wife's pregnancy, we called to find out about this practice and decided to go with them despite many negative reviews about the office staff. All the reviews, and the recommendation of a good friend were very positive about the doctors. We were told to call when we were in the hospital to set up an appointment for right after discharge. The doctors like to review and meet the newborns right afterwards. Awesome! Called from the hospital and set up an appointment for the day after discharge. We were told that the doctor's like to do an assessment right after discharge. Great! On our way to the appointment, we called to say that we may be 5 minutes late. The receptionist asked if their MA had called us that morning, which they had not. We were told that since they hadn't called us to ask us questions they might not be able to see us that day. We informed her that we were already on our way for an appointment that was already scheduled. She said they'd see if they could fit us in and that they were really busy. We arrived, five minutes EARLY, went to the door, saw the sign to not enter but to call a number which we did. We were told that someone would be out in just a minute. My wife, my newborn son and I stood there for 15 minutes and decided to leave. While resituating in the car the MA called to ask the questions, we answered and decided to at least give them a try. Again we were told that they were really busy. We received apologies that the person on the phone was new and didn't know what she was doing which was great that they apologized but at the same time discouraging that your first contact is with someone not properly trained. The nurses that saw us were nice enough but not very friendly or welcoming. They took all of our son's vitals and gave us one printout about growth curves but said that it was way too soon to predict so it would likely change a lot. When measuring his length, the nurse rolled out a mat, did not wipe it clean, measured our son then rolled it up and put it away without cleaning it. Seriously??? Before leaving we were not given any welcome kit, no information about the practice, no information about the doctors. What we were given were some Similac samples which was nice, except the nurse removed a used, crumpled up Sam's Italian Market plastic bag with 2 holes in it from her pocket to put them in. And that was it- no doctor saw our son on his first visit with the practice, after being told several times that the doctors want to see him right after he's discharged. No doctor gave an examination, said hello, popped their head in, looked at him in any way. We never made a follow up appointment because this was the worst, unprofessional experience we could have expected, especially for a first time patient. But it gets better!!! They wanted to see him one week after his first visit and we never made an appointment since we were so disturbed by this first visit. We immediately scheduled an appointment with another pediatrics office, which we've gone to twice now, who was everything we expected- professional, clean, complete and thorough care. Two week later, Hatboro Peds left us a message to see if they could schedule a follow up for our son. Later we received another message trying to get us to follow up. At this point we were not interested in pursuing any services with them since we had found someone much better in our opinion. So they called child services to investigate us without any reason for neglect. They treated us poorly, were unsanitary, did not have a doctor see our son and multiple times mentioned how busy they were and think that we should be checked in on. The doctors may be the best, too bad we had the experience we did and will never get to meet them. read more

I am completely appalled by the way I was treated at this office today. If I could give less then 1 star I would give it. I am not one to vent or dis anyone but I have to warn everyone about the horrible service I received at Hatboro Pediatrics in Warminster PA. I took my son there for his 1 months check up and the front desk lady informed me I did not have insurance for my son since my coverage on him lapsed 1 day ago as he is 31 days old and Aetna dropped him at 30 days since I was not aware I had to call and add him to my coverage. When I said I was going to call Aetna the front desk lady said I had to pay full price today as I was already 5 min late and was running late today and I would be reimbursed by my insurance. Then they made me Waite 40 min and when my husband had enough of horrible service and complained the lady offered to reimburse us so we would leave if we were not happy. I said whatever we will Waite as we were already there. Well finally we were seen and as we were driving home I got a call from Warminster township police saying we were to never return to the office and never to call them as the lady there felt threatened. I had asked what did we say that was threatening the cop said he was not sure. This entire experience has just freaked me out as I had never raised my voice nor and am one to fight with anyone and still shocked by what happened. Do not have have disagreements with office staff and if you complain you will be contacted by the police with harassment charges. I have been going to this office since Dr Coren first started and have never had such service there. She really needs new office staff if she wants people to trust the office with their most prized possessions. read more

She's incredibly thorough, prompt and accomodating. Everything you'd want in a pedatrician. She and her staff go above and beyond for their patients and I'm constantly singing her praises to whoever will listen. My only gripe is that we didn't start going here sooner! read more

I had been with Hatboro Pediatrics since Dr. Cohen started her practice. The doctors there are great but the front desk staff needs to be replaced and/or retrained on the basics of customer service. Twice, their office left me angry, threatening voicemails stating if my daughter didn't come in for an annual/wellness exam I would be dropped as a patient. Ok, maybe that's your policy but please use more tact. This week, I called for a specialist referral (these appointments are hard to get!) for a previously treated medical condition and because my daughter hadn't been in within the past year they would not complete it. I said I would schedule the well visit but they said I had to get in BEFORE the specialist visit which was in one week. With my unpredictable work schedule I could not make that happen. I understand there are rules but not once did the woman on the phone offer empathy or kindness to the situation. When I told her I would be leaving the practice her only response was, "I will close out her file." Really??!! That's it after 11 years with the practice?! A simple, "we are sorry to see you go" or "I understand this is a very difficult situation" would have made all the difference. read more

Just started going here and I am so happy I switched from our old peds office! Dr. Coren, all the nurses and office staff are more than helpful and really seem to enjoy working with children. I have two, one 6 and one 17 months and they are just awesome with them. They spend the time, if you need to, with you and your kids and they never make you feel like you are wasting their time if you bring your child in with a concern and it winds up nothing. They are really what a pediatricians office should be and I hope that they continue! read more

I'm a physician and I can't say enough for Dr. coren and her practice. This is how I always imagined medicine and patient care was supposed to be. She is a clinical star while at the same time giving you the personal care that every parent wants for their child. I would recommend her to anyone and she is worth it! read more
