Moore's is the very best. I called them this morning for a holding tank pumping, and they were…read morehere within the hour. It was especially nice, as we had invited friends for the weekend. They're so very accommodating! Love Moore's!

We were renting a porta potty. We paid deposit and had been paying. We asked them to charge us on the first, they clarified they normally charge every 4 weeks, but agreed. Charged us on the first of September. October they forget to bill me, I have to call and pay. (Passive aggressive comments about how it must've not gone through, but I can see they never tried to charge my account) Five days early they try to charge my account, and it declines. It's an account I only move money into to pay bills, and seeing as I was anticipating to be charged on the 1st I hadn't moved any money into the account. They don't call either of us. We always answer Maine numbers, and their caller ID comes through as Moore's Septic. We have a newborn and always answer in case it's a doctor or about her. Instead a day later they take our portapotty. I called very confused and apologetic, saying I wasn't expecting to be charged till the 1st, and we were never notified. She (Reagan) immediately raises her voice and takes a tone, and says that they called but the voicemail was full. *My husband's voicemail is never full, and there is no missed calls.* Also snaps at me that they always charge every 4 weeks, and my husband knows that. I was there for the conversation with Heidi and her explaining that if it's on the first it wouldn't be the same amount every month. And if that wasn't the previous agreement then why was I previously billed on the first like we had asked? I asked if I could please pay her and get it back, and *at this point she is full on using a disrespectful tone and talking down to me* Says they'd need a deposit of three months in advance to get it back now. I said isn't that a bit ridiculous, it was a misunderstanding and hasn't even been three days and we weren't notified. How can I make it right? She laughs in my face and says they only have a few hundred and are a busy business. They can't just give portapotties without deposit. That they did try to notify us and our voicemail was full, and that they'd never agreed to the first. They only do every 4 weeks. My bank and phone records don't lie. My husband and I both were present for the conversation with your mom. You'd think as a local family run business, you would treat local family's better. Do better. Horrible customer service. Reagan needs to learn some manners. This could've just been an easy misunderstanding, but the way I was talked to is unacceptable. We are neighbors in a small community, let's act like it. I know nothing will come of this since it's your parents business, but I hope you don't continue to reflect negatively on them with your horrible attitude.

Due to the 2013-2014 extremely cold and snowy winter in Maine, we ended up with a frozen sewer line…read morebetween our Waldoboro vacation home and its septic tank. We spend a good amount of time there even during the winter, and that no doubt contributed to it not freezing until recently due to regular use. Unfortunately, we had to spend a couple of weeks away, and when we returned on a Saturday, we discovered that the toilet wouldn't flush and backed up into the shower (after plunging; we suspected a clog initially). Sunday morning I started calling around, and the sewer service organizations I spoke with kept referring me to Interstate in Rockland. However, when I called them, they appeared to offer an emergency telephone number exclusive to existing customers. I called it anyway.* A gentleman named Andy answered the call, asked a couple of questions to confirm that it was in fact a frozen sewer line, and told me he'd pick up the truck and head out to our place right after church. Good to his word, I heard from him shortly after noon and he arrived with a truck full of water and a "jetter" about an hour later. In the meantime, I chopped through frozen sod and a corner of my wife's rock garden to locate the access cover for the inlet to the septic tank. Andy arrived just as I reached it. After a brief misadventure with a blown hose on the jetter, he had the sewer line running freely again. Through all of this, Andy was cheerful, engaging and seemed to be enjoying working with his customer. After the equipment was stowed, he handed me an invoice that was roughly half of what I was expecting to pay, and asked me to call the office on Monday to settle up. All in all, an excellent experience and I'm very pleased with the service. * Per Andy - the "existing customers" message on their answering service is to prevent people outside of their service area from calling. They're focused on the mid-coast area and want to remain responsive to their local customer base.

They pointed out what was happening and why. 1000 gallons of waste removed for under 200 bucks. That was way less then expected. Excellent service and attitudes. highly recommend.
