They had me in the shop within 30 minutes of calling them and had a 400+ hp rated stage 4 competition clutch in hand and all fluids. They worked on the car super late and had me back on the road by the next morning. They went above and beyond and inspected the car to make sure it would be fine for my 1300 mile road trip back home. My car is absolutely flawless and a 100k mile original gsr there are only a hand full of people I trust to work on my car. Project auto is for sure in that group of shops. The people who man the tools and do the work are enthusiasts not just your run of the mill mechanic. They work on your car with love and are 100% legitimate about it. I may cart my car the 1300 miles back if I ever need to have major work done again. I strongngly suggest this shop for high horse power cars aswell as stock cars they can handle it all and are extremely knowledgeable. I have been a mechanic for 15+ years and normally work on my own car. I was very surprised on the in depth knowledge these guys showed while talking to them.

AZ Quality Transmissions & Auto Repair

I called AZ Quality about my 2002 Porsche Boxster transmission leaking out. George said he knew…read moreexactly what the problem was. I delivered my transmission. A week later he said he fixed it. He asked me then if he could install it. I said yes. He installed it and it still leaked. He pulled it out and said he found the leak and Re-installed it and asked me to come. Car would not start. He handed me a broken oil filler tube and said it was broken. He was lying. I looked at engine. When they put starter back together, they crunched all the air hoses. They pulled off starter and re-positioned air hoses. Some hose got ruined. Another issue they put water in my anti-freeze tank. You don't put water in an antifreeze tank in a Porsche? He did not know how to release the pressure of air in anti-freeze tank and car overheated. I personally had to fix all these issues. Not only that the car still leaked fluid in transmission. George blamed it on the flywheel was bad. I asked him if he tightened bolts per Porsche specs. He said, "It does not Matter". I brought my Porsche after the fact to Porsche. They said tightening bolts to specs on Porsche Automatic Tiptronic Transmission flywheel is one of the most important things. If not, it will still leak. George Masked my issue and did not fix it. Now, I am stuck putting transmission fluid in my Porsche every 2 weeks because it leaks out!

I know you're super-busy and my car was returned to me a little dusty, so I shouldn't have been so critical. A few weeks ago I gave an unfair review. it turns out I was mistaken on a couple things and I gave them a poor review saying that they didn't take good care of my Mazda-5. They actually had the best prices compared to 2 other shops and I got my car back quickly. My mistake was that I had my car looked at 2 other shops and at one of them, they broke the panel on the driver's side and the engine cover was left off so I assumed it was Transmission Factory---I was totally ticked-off at the wrong guys. i APOLOGIZE GUYS. You did good work. My wife and I are grateful. 4-Stars! I will definitely bring my car back for future work!

When I picked my truck up, I noticed a leak before I drove off. They put it on the lift and fixed the leak. Driving home that night hard shift on the same gears and the same code. Took it back. After a few days they said it's fixed. Two days later same issue. Took it back again and after a few days they returned the truck. This time it was fixed. I finally parked in my driveway way after having it for a couple weeks and noticed it was leaking. Took it back and they didn't have time to look at it. They sent me down to their sister shop and they said it was a gasket leak. It was a small leak and I every time it's in their shop it's 3-4 days. I missed enough work, decided to wait until I needed to service and fix it myself. I found a random 12mm bolt in one hole and my pan was damaged on the lip. No wonder it was leaking. Whatever tech worked on my truck definitely had the " that's the next guys problem" attitude.

Allstate Transmission - Front Entrance to AllState Transmission

    Allstate Transmission

    (42 reviews)

Five-Star Review for Allstate Transmission…read more Allstate Transmission is exactly what you hope to find in an auto repair shop--family-owned, honest, and fair. We have an early-2000s Ford Thunderbird, a very special vehicle that has been in our family for years. We initially brought it to a large corporate repair shop in Cave Creek and were quoted $3,500-$4,500 for transmission work. That estimate didn't sit right. After doing extensive online research, I reached out to Allstate Transmission and spoke directly with Nicole, an owner. She clearly explained the inspection and repair process, set realistic expectations, and even walked me through a worst-case scenario that came in at just under $2,000. We transported the car to Allstate and were extremely pleased with the transparency of the estimate process and the consistent communication throughout the transmission rebuild. The transmission carries a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty, and when we picked up the car, it shifted and ran like new--no leaks, no issues. After living in Arizona for two years, it's incredibly reassuring to finally have a shop we can truly trust with our vehicles. Integrity, common sense, and quality workmanship--thank you, Nicole. You run a great shop, and Allstate Transmission comes highly recommended.

I…read morewas charged extra for storage fees on my car, but when I picked it up, the part they supposedly fixed was still not working properly and my transaxle sign popped up before I even made the car home. When I brought this up, Nicole was extremely unprofessional and told me I was "lucky" they would even fix it without charging me more for the new parts they had to replace on my transmission--despite the fact that the part had failed and should have been properly repaired in the first place. To make matters worse, when I asked for an invoice showing the corrected repairs, they refused to provide one, leaving me without proper documentation for my records. This is completely unacceptable. I paid for a service that was not done correctly, was overcharged, and was then denied basic proof of what was (or wasn't) fixed. I asked for a refund or even a partial refund on the storage fees considering I was charged more than what I was told and for the car having not been completed correctly in the timeline under which I was informed and billed for. Had to leave work multiple times for their mistake but was told I was lucky to have a fixed car, which I am, but some good customer service would have been nice too. I would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere. A reputable shop should stand by their work, treat customers with respect, and provide clear and accurate invoices. And customer satisfaction is supposedly their 100% priority but Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
