I would strongly recommend thinking twice before using Kramer Plumbing based on my recent…read moreexperience. The company was sent by my Warranty Company. I don't typically write reviews but since I received a text message from the company urging me to I thought well why not. First, once the technicians arrived, the conversation immediately turned into additional upsells and extra charges beyond the original scope. Be aware of this because what starts as one repair can quickly turn into multiple suggested add-ons. During the visit, they removed and adjusted my dishwasher area. After they left, I discovered that the cabinet alignment and surrounding wood panel were damaged/misaligned, something that had never been an issue before. The dishwasher had previously been installed properly and fit tightly in the cabinet space. When I reported the issue and asked them to come back to correct it, the company denied responsibility and stated that it "was like that before" or that it required "trim work," despite the fact that the problem only appeared after their work. Even more concerning, after telling me they would not return to correct the issue, technicians later showed up at my house unannounced while I wasn't home. That was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. Ultimately, the warranty company had to step in and reimburse me so I can hire someone else to fix the damage. The only reason I let it go. My advice to anyone considering this company: Take photos before work begins Be cautious of upselling once technicians arrive Be aware that if something goes wrong, getting accountability may be difficult I'm sharing this so other homeowners can make an informed decision. I'll never use them again and I'm letting my 168K followers on social media know never to use them. And I see how the company responds to these reviews instead of apologizing for how their customers are treated they instead jump immediately to defense mode. Unprofessional and disgusting. Just be ware they show up to your house unannounced. If a company calls and client doesn't answer that's not permission to just show up especially after they already stated it wasn't their problem. And nothing further was scheduled bc at that point I was dealing w the Warranty Company. A complete lack of accountability for damaging my cabinet. If I could give zero stars I would have. Oh I paid them out of pocket and was reimbursed by the Warranty company after going back and forth for days. If you pay out of pocket I'd suggest calling your financial institution to file a dispute on any damages that occur. Hope this helps.

In the thousands of dollars I spent with…read moreTarvin to have our plumbing issues resolved, we paid to have the plumbing beneath the sink repaired due to a leak. Needless to say, their repair hasn't held. The pvc piping they installed won't even stay together. It only held for a few months and then just came apart-- leaving us with having to have a bucket beneath the sink. I'm just frustrated enough to write this updated review now because I have to pay to have another plumber come out to fix their work. These people are predatory and unprofessional. Would not recommend. What would've been nice is if the owner of this plumbing company saw the invoice number on my receipt in the last post and tried to reach out-- but he didn't. Instead he implied that we didn't even have his company service my mother's home. Having integrity in your business -- owning a job and its result means something.

The overnight temps were below zero, the water supply is on the outside wall = frozen pipes. I called a number of local plumbers, and no one had anyone that could get to me quickly. Tarvin initially told me I would have to be a work in, understandably, I was not the first call for frozen pipes! Maybe 20 mins later, I received a call back from Tarvin and they told me a tech could meet me at my house in 45 mins. When the tech arrived (cannot remember his name), he told me they pulled him from his office duties for the day to take care of my issue. He was polite, friendly and got right to work. Within 15 mins he had the frozen line thawed, with no apparent leaks (fingers crossed). Polite, professional and reasonably priced. They also recommended a permanent fix for the freezing issue. Tarvin will be my 1st call for any future plumbing issues! Jeff H

In the last five years, I've called these guys more than I've called my own parents. Clogged drains? Snaked. Garbage disposal sounding like a blender full of rocks? Replaced. Sink basin cracked in half like Moses parted it? Handled. Entire HVAC system wheezing its last breath? Ripped out and swapped like a bad organ transplant. If my house had a medical chart, Jolly Plumbing would be its full-time surgeon. I'm a member now--which basically means I've given up pretending my home is ever going to behave, and instead I've put Jolly Plumbing on speed dial like an overworked ER nurse. And let me tell you: every single time, they show up fast, fix the problem, and manage to do it all while being--you guessed it--jolly. Honestly, if Jolly Plumbing offered emotional support on top of plumbing, I'd be calling them during family holidays. 18 calls in 5 years, and I'm still not sick of them. That's love. Highly recommend--unless you're my neighbor, in which case please don't call them until I get to them first.

What to do instead: Try Angies list, nextdoor, or reddit for a plumber that will charge you a quarter of the price! How do I know Jolly will try to rip you off and is overall a greedy, sham of a company? 1. I experienced it first hand: My water heater temperature escape valve opened up (as intended) and unfortunately leaked a bunch of water on my floor before I caught it. Jolly plumbing came by and recommended the correct fix for my problem (hats off guys) - installing an expansion tank and PRV valve on my main. Total cost was $2000 to do this job that would take less than 4 hours. Not only that, but they tried to sell me on a new water heater because "it was close to the replacement cost of a new water heater" and he "wasn't sure how long it would last", a baseless claim I might add. Guess how much they tried to charge me for that? $6K (see attachment). Do a minimal amount of googling and you can see this is about a 3-4 X markup. I went with a small mom and pop plumbing shop - they did not try to sell me a new water heater and charged me $650 for the whole job, and brought my whole system up to code. 2. They are currently BRIBING their customers to write positive reviews of their company on google. Check out the image I attached. Hey Jolly, where's my $100 amazon gift card now? 3. THEY INCENTIVIZE their CROOK TECHNICIANS with commission to try to sell you on as much unnecessary service as possible. Don't believe me? Check out the reviews on indeed written by some of their previous employees.
