My favourite is the appam with sweet coconut milk in the center. Appam is made from a fermented rice batter cooked on a special surface called Kerala to create a slightly dome shape. The combination of the crispy pancake and coconut milk creates a savoury and sweet flavour. I was hoping to end this review with a rice coconut pun to crack you up but am out of ideas.
