If you're wanting peace of mind, reliable staff, security, community, and comfort, I highly recommend Del Oro on Broadway Apartments. Alba has been with us from the start, she's always on top of communication answering all of our questions and concerns. Pete and Ruben are the friendliest grounds keepers and always will help with anything. These apartments are very well maintained, professionally cleaned and sanitized before move in and move out. It's very modern and roomy. Should anything need immediate maintenance they have onsite maintenance there 24/7. That also means if someone trips an alarm or something by accident you won't hear it for hours. Its a very nice gated community with surveillance cameras everywhere and on site patrol at night. The heating and a/c are top notch as well as all the other appliances. We rarely ran into issues but if we did it was fixed super fast. The staff have special events every so often for children as well as free pizza or raffles to win things like full thanksgiving meals, etc. Parking is great theres plenty for cars needing charging stations or cover. The amazon package hub and mail are very secure, easy to use. We had two dogs and it was easy to get them to the designated dog pen. Its all kept very clean! There are so many amazing places nearby to eat and the bay is just up the street! If you're nervous to apply like we were because we had a lot going on at the time that sounded complicated to explain, just try! The staff are very understanding and will try to help you succeed. We are very thankful for the chance we had. There really isn't anything negative to report, we loved this apartment and they were always fair never asking for large increases in rent renewals. They also give plenty of advance notice for fire alarm testing, main hallway carpet cleaning, elevator maintenance, and any in unit quick inspections for yearly fire sprinkler upkeep that is just fast in and out look. Again, I highly recommend living here, it was an easy 3 yrs and we were very comfortable here.

DO. NOT. MOVE. HERE…read more This place is horrible. The elevator is always broken and has yet to be properly fixed. This place is GHETTTOOOO. The cops are here easily 4 times a week, without fail. The residents are so ill-mannered!! They fight in the hallways, yelling, cursing, threatening, without even being willing to stop or control themselves in front of children. I can't even have my windows open because all I hear is arguing. Cars are always speeding through the complex. I was walking my dog and another resident said "my dog is going to bite you, so go walk that way. I'm warning you" She had a full grown Doberman without a leash in her garage, with the garage wide open. Literally, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!

UPDATE: Management ultimately resolved the issue and confirmed that the lease break fee was removed…read moreand my military lease termination would be honored. I appreciate that they reached the correct outcome. That said, I am leaving my original review because the process itself was unnecessarily stressful. I was initially asked to provide additional command verification beyond my husband's official PCS orders, a substantial lease break fee was added to my account while the matter was still under review, and I spent several days trying to resolve concerns about autopay and my account balance during an already stressful PCS. I hope this experience leads to clearer internal procedures for future military families. No servicemember or spouse should have to worry about an erroneous lease break fee or uncertainty over whether their SCRA documentation will be accepted while preparing for a military move. I'm updating my review because I believe in giving credit when a business ultimately makes things right. However, I also believe prospective residents, especially military families, deserve to understand what my experience was from start to finish. I am leaving my original review below because the process itself was unnecessarily stressful. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future military families exercising their rights under the SCRA. Original Review: As a military family, I wanted to share my experience so others know what to expect. We submitted our written notice to vacate along with official PCS orders to terminate our lease under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA). Despite already providing official military orders, we were initially asked to provide a command email for additional verification. After I explained that the SCRA requires written notice and military orders or, alternatively, a commanding officer's letter. I was told the matter would be escalated to management. While management was reviewing the issue, a lease cancellation fee of over $4,300 was posted to our resident account, creating concern because our autopay is configured to pay the full account balance automatically. Although the office later advised that the fee was under review, it was never clearly explained how the account would be handled while that review was pending. I was also told that management would contact me by 5:30 p.m. When no one called, I contacted the after-hours line to ask for a status update and to understand why I hadn't received the promised callback. During that conversation, the representative disconnected the call. When I called back, the second call was also disconnected before my question could be addressed. My hope is that management resolves this appropriately. However, I encourage other military families to familiarize themselves with their rights under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, maintain copies of all correspondence, and document every interaction throughout the lease termination process.

Upon arrival, I was introduced to Connie, who appeared disinterested and unenthusiastic about assisting us. During our interaction, she provided limited information regarding the available units and made several negative comments about the property. For example, rather than focusing on the available apartments and their features, she emphasized that only one vehicle could be parked on-site and that any additional vehicle would need to be parked off-site. Connie also appeared reluctant to show us any available units and instead offered to show us photographs. Since the available units and photographs were already accessible online, I found this approach unhelpful and expected a more informative in-person tour. Overall, I found the interaction to be unprofessional with poor communication skills. Connie did not appear knowledgeable about the property or the available units, and her overall demeanor made us feel as though she was discouraging us from renting at the property. Due to the experience, we ultimately decided to leave without viewing any units.

We're so glad that we chose Westmont. Most importantly, Westmont's caregivers treated my parents (as well as my wife and me) like members of their own family. My Mom would regularly tell me about how nice her caregivers were to her. She gave perhaps the best endorsement of all. Whenever we would return from an outing together, as we entered the Westmont parking lot, she would smile and say, "Home sweet home!"
