The food here is gorgeous, really fresh and tasty. Only problem is, they have a tendency to run out of different ingredients from time to time - for example, on my last visit, which was before the lunchtime rush on a Saturday afternoon, they had run out of parma ham, regular ham and buffalo mozzerella which can be quite frustrating when you have your heart set on something from the menu. The staff were more than willing to offer substitute ingredients and we were happy to agree to their suggestions. Portions look small, but you will struggle to finish. I had a panini with goats cheese, pesto, spinach, sundried tomatoes and rocket - yummy - and my boyfriend had a bowl of chicken soup with a sandwich, which he loved.
The staff were very friendly and nice, but the service wasn't exactly top notch. Firstly, we were left standing in a queue to order for ten minutes - the waitresses were taking orders from individuals and making these up before taking the next order. I thought it would have been more sensible to perhaps take orders from customers, and allow them to take their seats rather than have them standing in the queue for so long. Secondly, the poor waitress was so flustered that she forgot to bring our drink, and when we asked for them again, she brought us both the wrong drink order. We didn't really mind this though.
Overall, very good, would recommend it to anyone! read more
