The beef burger is delicious with cheese loaded potato skins-you won't be hungry after! Loads of homemade cakes and sausage rolls etc. are on display to tempt you. Great selection of choices on the menu with plenty of gluten free options. Breakfast served until 2pm at the weekend which I think should be the norm. Stopped in for lunch on one of the opening days and tbh was a little bit manic but that just down to finding feet, have been in since and things have calmed down. The first thing you notice when you enter is the woodfire pizza oven! then you'll start to pick up on how trendy the building is.. if Pizza isn't your thing the mosey on over to the sandwich counter and purchase a very tasty sambo.. When it came to the soup, there wasn't enough to fill two cups but only three quarters or so of our two portions so one staff said they wouldn't charge us; the other staff, however, charged us for two full cups so we totally felt shortchanged. I must say in general I'd prefer a board with a few suggested combinations rather than having to design my own sandwich - I don't have that much imagination at all times, that's why I count on cafés to prepare my food! So in summary good food but a bad service experience will not justify venturing out to Cabinteely again any time soon for me or my lunch companion.

I am definitely making the Vanilla Pod eatery a priority place to frequent!
