This is one of the best courses in WNY hands down. It's worth the price of admission as it can be more on the expensive side. The course is as beautiful as it is challenging. I try to play here around once per year and having great rounds keeps me coming back. Though the course is challenging, it's has never made me dislike playing there. It's always so lush and pristinely taken care of. If you want to play one of the premier courses in WNY, this is it.

I have been playing this course since it opened. The landscape is fantastic. The groundskeeping team has done an amazing job keeping the course in great shape. After 4 pm during the week, 18 holes with a cart is only $29, $25 for nine. Since the new ownership, construction on the property has been substantial. A new clubhouse has been built along with a full service bar and restaurant called Rooth's Sky Lite. The menu is quite extensive. They serve breakfast all day, which is great. The rest of the menu is standard pub fare such as burgers, wraps and chicken wings. As for drinks, the bar has a full liquor license. The beer selection is standard domestic and imports. They offer a bucket of five beers for $12. There are some craft beers such as Southern Tier IPA, Sierra Nevada pale ale and Magic Hat #9. The food was good and the ambience was fitting for a golf course. All in all, the golf is great and the addition of the bar and restaurant improves the full experience.

The bachelor party entourage had a great time!

We came in promptly at 5 o'clock to find a very busy parking lot, an indication that the restaurant was already becoming crowded. Snowmobilers were parking their sleds along the trail-side and filling the open tables in the dining rooms. Our waiter was spot on, extremely attentive, pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. He kept our beverages full, brought our onion ring appetizer quickly, and followed up with our dinners soon after. I had been craving a beer-battered fish fry for the longest time. It really is a regional favorite at this time of year in the weeks preceding Easter. Byrncliff is one of the few restaurants in my vicinity that serve up a traditional beer-battered cod fish fry. I was amazed at the huge portion of fish on my large dinner plate, which included a nice serving of braised zucchini slices and red bell pepper chunks. I upgraded my French fries to garlic Parmesan fries for $3.00. They were very delicious and well worth the extra money. Additionally this meal included a scoop of macaroni salad, sweet coleslaw, and a slice of rustic bread and butter. My Special Valentine ordered the broiled fish with Italian seasoning. He always goes for the healthier option! He had a perfectly baked potato with sour cream, Mac salad and coleslaw. We indulged our grandsons and let them order a large cheese and pepperoni pizza from the wood-fired oven. The pizza sauce was rustic and savory. The pepperoni was cup and char, a true Buffalo favorite! Our littlest grandson ordered bbq chicken fingers with hand-crafted potato chips. He said these fingers are his favorite!! They are thick and juicy "tenders". We will definitely include Byrncliff golf resort and restaurant in our dining rotation. They serve up excellent food and affordable price in a beautiful pastoral setting

When it was time for me to pick a location for my wedding, I happened to remember Fox Valley and my husband loved it, so we booked it! At first, I was a little frustrated with them. I'm a last minute planner, so we were lucky enough to book Fox Valley just under a year before our wedding. The first event planner went out on maternity leave and then decided not to return to work (completely understandable). Then, we were assigned a new planner and she quit and no one told us! I found out by sending her an email and getting a rejection email back. Finally, we got Nancy and she was the saving grace! After running into so many bumps in the beginning, Nancy really put us at ease. Her primary role was to help us figure out what happens at Fox Valley like the food, table settings, centerpieces and chair covers. She was kind enough to go a step further and offer recommendations for the best florist, DJ and more! Our wedding was October 28, 2017, so it was right around Halloween. I really wanted that fall feel, so I asked if there was a way that we could have Southern Tier Pumking on tap, and unfortunately the answer was a no. BUT, Nancy ordered a bunch of bottled Pumking and we had more than enough to last us all night. The food was perfect. The staff was so friendly. The view is beautiful and I truly cannot think of anything to complain about no matter how hard I try. I loved my wedding day so much that wish I could relive it every year! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the Fox Valley Staff for making our wedding day so perfect.
