As you drive in, the clubhouse cuts an imposing figure. The range is right next to the parking lot, and they gave me balls to hit for free. Range was empty, but felt a little tight where the tees were. We played on a weekday and overnight there was a lot of rain - still, we made good time for it being cart path only. I saw the rangers at least three times, so it seems like pace of play is important to them. The course itself had some wet spots, and cart path only made complete sense. The course rating and slope aren't too bad, but the course is a challenge. There are several "blind" tee shots (or 2nd if you mishit), and playing here before does have its advantages. Many picturesque holes, with a mostly links-style feel (at least what we call links in the US). Keep the ball in the short stuff, or in the first cut - otherwise, you're asking for trouble. Nice halfway house at the turn; the bar is nice and spacious, and the drink prices are very reasonable. Now that I've played here once, I'd love to return and score better...Staff is personable and friendly.

We were originally sat in the dining room but the waitress never came so we decided to move. It was fast and friendly service at the bar. We were even ordered and served before a couple who had been seated in the dining area before us. The Golf dome: The gold area was well maintained and the ball distribution was easy as they have a machine for dispensing. There is a bar with full food service within the dome. Tables are first come first serve and there are 2 levels. If you forget clubs you can rent or purchase your own at the golf store.

Now let me set the stage, we were behind a 3 some and every time we got to the next hole we needed to wait for them to finish. (Rightfully so as they were booked back to back) A gentleman rolled up when we were on hole 4, just finishing up, and proceeded to tell us to play faster, when I told him that we needed to wait every time we got to a hole for the gentlemen ahead of us to finish he was rude and told us we needed to just play faster and he said there was a hole between us and the next Players. We proceeded to finish that hole and got to hole 5 - a PAR 3 130 Yards!!! We finished that quickly and proceeded to hole 6 where we ended up waiting to once again play again!!! There was a twosome behind us that never caught up and had to wait for us so if we were delaying the game I think it would have been apparent if they were continuously waiting for us! I don't think this is acceptable behavior and will most likely never return! I get it's a busy day but as a worker know your audience, know what's happening and don't be rude to customers who have paid a good penny to play a round with 4 people on Father's Day!!! There are many many other courses to play that will appreciate business!!
