It was good for months of putting until recently, when this angry old lady, probably the owner or manager there, told me I had to buy their bucket of balls to putt on the greens; she kept repeating it as if I didn't hear her as I walked over to buy a bucket of balls, and I responded, "Yes, I heard you." I was using white balls on the greens, so that probably drew attention. My Godson was also using white balls on the green as she walked past him on a different green to get to me. She walked past him because the only person hitting on the range was a black man, so she just assumed that my godson, who is half black, was this man's son. Being a racist is not a good business plan, old lady. I understood we should buy balls from them, so we bought a bucket for driving, gave it to my Godson, and he let me keep a few for chipping and putting. After a short time, the angry old lady came back in a rage and said I told you, and stole the balls my Godson paid for at their ball machine while I was chipping and putting and my Godson was driving on their range. I can't drive very well because of my disability, so putting and chipping are all I can do at the range. As my godson walked back, I called to him that we have to leave. He walked past her, and she asked him if I was his father. He replied, " Yes, he is. From now on, I'll spend my money elsewhere for putting and chipping. If you're a disabled person/veteran trying to hit/putt golf balls, there are other places nearby you can use if you're unhappy about the treatment that I received yesterday, because tomorrow that racist could be barking at you! read more
