We came here for lunch during the Covid times (on December 31, 2020). I called beforehand to make sure that they are open. The owner picked up the phone and asked me what time I will be showing up. I told him that I will head there now. He then proceeded and asked me how many people and my name. No he didn't take down my phone number so I am guessing he probably wrote it down on a piece of paper. But regardless, we were the only people dining inside. The reason why the owner asked for our name was so that he could set up 2 tables. A high-top and regular dining table. We got the option to pick which table we wanted to sit at. We ordered two dishes to share. We got the Galibi BBQ ($24) and the Grilled Pork Belly ($19) to share. The Galibi BBQ came with rice and a small dish of sides. The Grilled Pork Belly came with lettuce, dipping sauce, rice and a small dish of sides. The food was very delicious but not wow. I found the portion size a bit small and also their prices are much more higher than their competitors in Kelowna. For example their Kimbap is $10 for a roll and their competitor charges $7.95 for a roll. This goes with every item on the menu. On top, their sides are not free refills like many other Korean restaurants. Note that they are not located downtown too. So most of their customers are local / neighboring residence in the area. We came during Covid times. So note that this places charges for tap water. On top, they will only roll the food out in a cart and you will have to serve yourself. This is a family ran business. The restaurant is not big. The husband of this restaurant is the waiter and cashier. The wife of this restaurant is the chef. So in the entire restaurant there are only two people working. There are free parking out in the front. Is this restaurant worth coming to try, you ask me? Well it is nothing special and also with the prices it charges, I wouldn't make a special trip here. The food is authentic. Was I full after the meal. The answer was not really. If this restaurant was in Vancouver, I would give it 3 stars. Note that this place doesn't have the Korean Grill BBQ available. The food that they serve are all cooked in their kitchen.

I do wish they would put a little more meat, especially considering that their bibimbaps are a little pricier than at most Korean restaurants. I've also tried their kimbaps, they are fresh and super yummy! Also much pricier than usual, but they seem like they're bigger than most kimbaps. I've ordered their tteokbokki, and it wasn't as spicy as I had expected it to be. It seemed like there wasn't enough of the spicy pepper paste (gochujang) to give it that kick and flavour. I absolutely adore tteokbokki, and I was little sad that it did not meet my expectations. Overall, this place has some great Korean comfort foods, consistent service and a lot of selection (I will definitely try their Korean tacos soon!). Pricier than most Korean restaurants but totally worth a try!

It seems that K-drama, K-Pop, and K-Food has permeated globally and even in small towns like…read moreValemount had a couple of K-spots and Revelstoke is no exception. If you are scrambling between the mountains doing the Canadian tradition of crossing the Rockies, you'll need to figure out where to stop and nourish your SEOUL. There's a certain audacity to it--the kind that makes a town interesting. You've got this postcard-perfect mountain place, all ski-town swagger and lumberjack flannel, and right in the middle of it, a Korean family decides to plant their flag. They don't just open a restaurant--they create a gathering spot. Seoul Street isn't trying to mimic what Revelstoke already has. It's something else entirely. Walk in and you'll feel it immediately. There's a pulse here--equal parts neighbourhood bar, après-ski hangout, and low-lit spot to linger over soju and a plate of bulgogi. Trivia nights and other activities fill the off-season lull with laughter and beer-fueled rivalry, and when the mountains are quiet, this place hums with locals who know a good thing when they find it. The food? Pretty damn solid - street food with minimal twists and turns - this isn't conFUSION you know! The flavors are real--comforting, soulful, straight out of mom's kitchen, but smartly calibrated for the uninitiated. They'll ask about your spice level, and they actually mean it. You can go mild, or you can sweat your way to enlightenment. Either way, you'll leave full, maybe a little flushed, and very happy. In a town where everyone's passing through--ski bums, truckers, dirtbags, dreamers--Seoul Street manages to feel like home. That's not easy to do. If you're rolling through Revelstoke or laying your head down for the night, don't miss this place. It's brave, it's welcoming, and it tastes like heart. Seoul Street isn't just feeding people--it's building community, one spicy bowl at a time. CHEERS!!!

(Bibimbap) and some true Italian (Gnocchi and homemade Pasta) with the rest being slight variants of both. We had the Burrata salad with greens and roasted and fresh tomatoes (nicely skinned) with Pesto, Pune Nuts and a balsamic dressing. It was beautiful but needed more salt and acid to tame down the Burrata. Still a nice salad. We split the Patate Fritte which was fried potatoes and gnocchi with a really flavorful Chipotle Mayo. The whole dish didn't work. The gnocchi were over fried and too small to eat with the much larger potatoes which were also underdone. The Tuna Poke Bowl was very nice (and a good deal) with all of the usual components. The Salmon was cooked perfectly (crispy on the outside slightly translucent inside ) and came with a wasabi cream, lots of roasted veggies (potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, green beans) and somewhat random things like cornichons, caper berries, and beets. The whole thing worked but would have been better with some editing. I personally wanted more wasabi in the cream and wished that it didn't get watered down by all the veggies. They have a nice cocktail list and a decent list of wines by the glass, several local all fairly priced. The place is modern looking with windows overlooking downtown streets in two sides. The place is very modern with lots of metal and concrete and consequently lots of energy and lots of noise. I see this as a great space for a bunch of friends, less so for a romantic dinner. Overall I liked this place. It could be better and I would return. I love what they are aiming for.

My best friend was here from the coast and we've eaten sushi at numerous restaurants there. Wanted…read moreAYCE so decided to try this one. Mistake! The interior was clean and well lit. We were seated quickly and given our menu papers to order. VERY surprised to find that items that are standard at other AYCE sushi restaurants were a 'charge added' at this one. In addition, many items like chicken karage, were not even on the menue. Given the lack of staff (no blame here-we let it go) it took quite awhile for the server to pick up our order sheets. The Sunomono Salad was the first hint that something might be amiss. It came in a glass cup and the vinegar was yellow. Apple cider vinegar instead of rice vinegar, I think. My friend, who LOVES Sunomono salad couldn't eat hers. Then our items came in dribs and drabs. A California Roll and a couple of Inari (even though the menu said 3 pieces per order, and we ordered X2 (which should have been 6 pieces) we received 2 pieces. Then came the Tempura (sans the 2 prawns that comes with it EVERYWHERE else-prawns were an extra charge) and then the Yakisoba. Finally, the teriyakis come. 2 beef and 2 chicken. Teriyaki? A pile of fried cabbage and onion and 5 measly tiny pieces of chicken and another pile of fried cabbage and onion and 2 pieces of beef. NO TERIYAKI SAUCE!! Even though we both love cabbage, neither one of us could eat all of it. Then there is this-if you do not eat all of each dish, you are charged for that dish separately. So, my friend was charged an extra $5 for her unfinished Yakisoba (more cabbage mixed into lukewarm noodles). We complained about the huge amount of cabbage for each of the hot dishes and I felt that they should have not charged extra for the yakisoba. All in all a very disappointing AYCE lunch. The rolls were fine-nothing special. The Inari was fine. Everything else was sub-standard or non existent and having to pay extra for items that are standard at other sushi restaurants is a money grab. I will never eat here again and I will encourage my friends not to as well.
