We went to several furniture stores the same day and this was by far the most relaxing one. He checked in when we got there and said to give him a shout if we needed anything, then went about his business. We were able to amble and not feel rushed or badgered into buying and it was just an overall nice experience. He answered several questions for us (when WE asked him for assistance) then let us be to continue browsing. We took some pictures and measurements and he just let us do our thing - it was such a good experience. I hate being pressured and asked a million questions when we are just browsing and looking for ideas. Thank you Templeton Colonial Furniture! We will be closing on our new home the end of the month and we will definitely be buying from you!

When purchasing the ($1800) overlocker she tried to sell me a floor model for the price of a new one saying it was to MY advantage because I could "take it home now, rather than wait" 3 days for the shipment of new ones. Good deal, huh? Now that there is a competing authorized dealer, I'll be going there. Her business ethics are questionable. She is not an authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer but "can get you" products as her father, in CT, is. She is undercutting the legitimate dealer's territory. Her store products are overpriced and she offers no discounts (ASG, night of class, etc) but complains if you buy class supplies elsewhere. She doesn't tell you that free classes come with the purchase of a machine, or about discounted extended warranties. The store also sells window blinds. Denise measured and installed our window treatments and when my husband complained they didn't fit right she told us that's what we wanted. Huh? Sure, ill-fitting, over-priced blinds are what every homeowner dreams of. I recommend avoiding this store for sewing machines or blinds.

Recently, I purchased some products as a gift for someone who loves sewing. I myself am not much of a sewer so I went in almost blindfolded as I didn't know the difference between a sewing machine and a spool of thread. I did not for one second feel like I was being steered in the wrong direction. Perhaps the first reviewer just had a bad day, because my experience at Close To Home was great.

We reached out looking to get a…read morecustom 22' built-in bookshelf unit, and after meeting with Bob and Angie, we felt confident in hiring them for this project. Before quoting us, Bob and Angie met with us to discuss what we envisioned for our bookshelves. They took the time to show us different design options and finishes, as well as photos of other similar projects, so they had a clear picture of what to draw up for us. As construction began, Bob, Angie, and their son Eric continuously worked with us and offered their expertise and advice to help us make the best decisions possible for our project, tweaking things along the way when they saw a better option. They worked through our ideas and questions with an open mind and we always felt heard by them. Not only did we truly feel a part of the project and experience (which was very important to us), but we also felt their excitement and investment in this project as well. We didn't feel like just another customer. As a result, we got our absolute dream! Everything from consult to install was professional, meticulous, and personalized. It is clear that Bob is a master craftsman and that this family loves what they do. Our bookshelves are showstoppers and we would hire Taylor Made time and time again for all of our woodworking needs!

We shopped the chain and specialty furniture stores and didn't find anything that had the quality of wood, workmanship or interesting style that we wanted. We looked into custom cabinetry and after reviewing several companies went with TaylorMade because of the quality of their customer samples. Bob and Angie worked with us to design the piece, providing 3-D renderings to confirm the "look and feel". No aspect was too small to be considered, from the interior clearances to the exterior details such as fluting, raised panel thickness, router styles or ventilation slots. We came up with a stained cherry design with center speaker shelf, protruding media area with smoked glass doors, and self-closing storage doors and drawers. Bob Taylor is a true craftsman, and his team make exceptional pieces. The workmanship is outstanding, truly flawless construction and finish. We couldn't be more pleased with Bob and company's work and recommend them highly to anyone looking for fine quality cabinetry.

I spent countless hours online searching every known tractor manufacturer comparing specs, price, standard and optional equipment, etc. I got quotes from pretty much any tractor dealer within 1000 miles of my address in order to compare pricing. When obtaining all the quotes and information, two dealers went above and beyond what I expected. Oddly enough, both of them were Kioti Dealers. I won't mention the name of the other dealer, but I would have had to drive to TN to get a new Kioti tractor. Marshall replied to my first quote request within a day and not only did he reply, but he asked many important questions concerning what I was looking for, some of these question I hadn't even considered. We continued to have an email conversation for approx 6 weeks before I could make the 90 minute trip to his dealership. In this process, Marshall went far above and beyond any dealer I have ever dealt with in any purchasing scenario to answer questions, provide quotes, explain pricing, etc. I finally made it out to Orchard Hill dealership and again, Marshall went far and above to show me every tractor that I should consider and broke down the differences, prices, etc. All and all, Orchard Hill Farm Equipment & Trailer Sales is a very professional, customer service oriented business. Marshall is an outstanding and knowledgeable salesman with a heart for the customer. You guys have honestly been the best dealership I have ever dealt with to purchase something. Thirty years ago, I bought a 1984 Deere 750 Tractor from Ed. It cost $13,000 with a heavy duty mowing deck and plow blade. The Deere would work well for maybe half an hour, then overheat. Various tractor "experts" could not figure out what was wrong. Finally I wrote Ed. He said that he'd take the tractor back. If he couldn't repair, I could pick out any tractor on his lot for the same price. He did repair it. Squirrels had stored nuts in the cooling system. That tractor with mowing deck was THE best piece of equipment I've ever owned for my 10 acres of woodland and fields. Now I'm in the process of buying a new Kioti 2510 tractor with bucket, grapple and back hoe implements. I'm working with Ed's sons Marshall and Josh.
