The poorest communication I have ever received from a business. Basically stole my items that I left to be engraved. Promised a two day turnaround. It's been a month and he still has my items. Be warned: Do not use! read more

Dropped off a trophy to be engraved and Jimmy said it would be a few days. One month later, after numerous attempts to contact him and him saying it would be done "tomorrow" numerous times, I finally had to just go pick it up unfinished and have someone else do the work. read more

Perfect job engraving initials on a leather bag. Full recommendation and fair price to boot!

Jimmy did an awesome job on my Childs sentimental pieces. He is pretty busy so make sure to schedule a pick up day and time. But the products were worth the wait. Thanks Jimmy read more

I wanted to post that Jimmy the engraver was so amazing! I brought in a Christmas ornament for my granddaughter and he was very professional and helpful with the font design he was going to engrave. It turned out amazing. He went above and beyond and delivered it right to my door on Christmas Eve so that I could have it in time for Christmas morning because I am disabled and it's hard for me to get around. I highly recommend him for any engraving needs you might have!! Merry Christmas!!! read more

Excellent work. Nice guy. Very experienced. Expensive for smaller jobs. Office in garage.

Kevin was absolutely amazing! I needed a necklace engraved very last minute, gave him a call and he said he could have it done for me the next day. He even let me come by to pick it up 30 min before he opens up so I was able to catch my flight. The necklace came out absolutely beautiful and he was a pleasure to work with. I will definitely go to him in the future and highly recommend him. Thank you so much Kevin!! read more

I was struggling to find a place that would engrave underneath a skateboard. most places would turn me away because it was too large and difficult to work with. So I was thrilled when I spoke to Kevin at Hartt Engraving Co and he said it wouldn't be an issue.. exactly the attitude I needed for my project! The engraving turned out beautifully, with a quick turn around time, and at a fair price. Great service and great quality. If you need engraving done, this is the place to go! read more

I wanted to give military style dog tags with a custom design to my son as a present for being my best man in my wedding. I searched all over the place to get them engraved. I started out going to Things Remembered in the mall (Seemed a good place to start since that's what they do) but was greatly disappointed. They wanted to charge me set up fees of $50 for each dog tag. Then engraving would be extra. The process was going to take as much as 3 weeks. After some searching I found Hartt Engraving. I was told to email the digital artwork prior to getting there so he could take a look at it and let me know if there were going to be any problems. I delivered the dog tags at 8:30 am and asked if I could get it by end of day because I needed to leave town for my wedding. He said he would do his best and I received an email at 4:30 pm saying they were done. The dog tags looked exquisite! Oh yeah, and they only cost me $25 which was a far cry from $100+. read more

What a NIGHTMARE. I brought silverware to Kevin approximate 3 weeks before Christmas. He told me that it would be done within about a week to engrave 1 initial per piece, this was a gift for my family. After 6 weeks and at least 5 phone calls later, I was told it would be ready on the Jan 10. I arrived and he said that the engraving machine was broken. I grabbed my unopened silverware and left. What a lair. read more

Great service, on time, nice work and very reasonable - Kevin engraved 24 stainless steal wine glasses for me for a wine tasting weekend. I highly recommend Hartt Engraving Co. you will not be disappointed. read more

I bought a watch case that had a clear glass on top and wanted to get it engraved. I called a few places and for three letter initials in the middle and a short quote at the bottom they quoted me $30+. My sister told me about Kevin and said he had engraved a knife for her a few months back and she was very happy with his work so I decided to give him a try. I called him on a Wed and he told me I could drop off the bow same day, when I got there he was very friendly and quick, told me he would email me with a picture of how it will look. I had requested to complete the project by 2 days, which was a bit demanding but Kevin was completely accommodating about it. I got an email later that evening and was happy with the picture so I okayed it. He then sent me another email the next day in the afternoon stating it was done and I could pick it up. I called him around 5 and asked if I could drop by to pick it up, knowing that he closes at that time but he was nice about it and told me to come by. The actual watch box looked great and for $20, it's really a great hassle free deal. I will definitely return for my next project. read more

Best price. Great work. Do not go anywhere else!! Things Remembered wanted to charge us an outrageous price for what we wanted and then told us they couldn't do it. We found this place last minute and the owner did an amazing job. They don't have a fancy storefront but their work is pretty awesome. Thanks! read more

Kevin was highly recommended to me by another engraver in The Valley, as he had the specific tools for my engraving needs. He patiently helped me to get the wording placement right in a design comp and then delivered a beautiful result within the requested timeframe. read more

I had two sterling silver bracelets engraved here, and was very pleased with the results and the great price ($20), compared to jewelers. It was a really great turnaround time, just one day. And that's a few days before Christmas! A few tips: * This business is run out of Kevin's garage, so make sure to call in advance and be prepared for that. I initially thought I was going to a store, so became concerned when I first pulled up there and saw a house in a suburban neighborhood. It was fine in the end, but for a single woman, I was initially concerned. If I had been prepared by that detail in the website or Yelp reviews, I would not have been surprised and felt uncomfortable. * Pick out a font ahead of time. My pieces turned out beautifully, but I felt under pressure to quickly pick out a font on his computer as he felt that a cursive font would not work very well on such a small bracelet, and didn't realize I would not have a sheet of fonts to choose from. It would have been much better if I had calmly chosen a font at home from Word, though he uses Corel. * He only takes cash or check! Besides that, this was a really great experience. Fast, fairly priced, and well done. I would use him again! read more

Friendly, helpful, professional and excellent value too. Kevin is helpful and very accommodating. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Kevin is great! Thank you for your kind service and great work at a fair price. I hope your business continues to thrive.

Kevin engraved a beautiful 70 year-old jewelry box that belonged to my mother and was being given to her great granddaughter for a Bat Mitzvah present. This was a treasured keepsake in my family and I was nervous about leaving it to be engraved. Kevin truly did an outstanding job, treated this family heirloom very carefully and returned to me a perfectly and beautifully engraved jewelry box. I will not go any other place for engraving. Thank you Kevin. read more

I asked Kevin to engrave a cremation urn for our daughters remains. I gave him the urn and the inscription and a sample of the font we wanted. He told me that it would be ready in three days. When I went in to pick it up, I read it and told him that it looked great. I can't say enough about his workmanship and what a pleasure it was doing business with this gentleman and I will certainly recommend Hartt Engraving to anyone in need of this kind of service. read more
