We ordered some wings, white gravy fries and a couple of kid's meals and it was all very good, service was decent and atmosphere was cozy though I heard it can get busy around the holidays, overall we enjoyed with no issues, we will be back especially for the white gravy.

Very cute little stop to have a quick lunch while shopping the Peddler's village which was really cute. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The food is really pub tavern food BUT A MUST GET HANDS DOWN is the French fries OMG even if you stop for that its worth it and for a good drink. Pics are of their fish tacos which I was told that had a nice kick too it if you want spicy, the caprese sandwich and an interesting twist to apple pie called the apple cheddar pie - only one suggestion is just serve a little warm not all the way hot because it was a little too cold for it to be an apple pie. As why the one star less and i put my suggestion.

My girlfriend and I had a nice Christmas adventure visiting Peddlers Village in the afternoon and stopped in for a bite to eat and drinks. Got seated right away and started ordering with a cosmo and margarita. She ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich which came with a hot honey sauce on it. I ordered the Sweet & Smokey Smash Burger. Both needed more sauce on them. Couldn't taste the bacon jam on the burger and the chicken needed way more sauce on it. The fries were really good. Never seen fries that curled like that. Service was great and attended with everything. Left happy but just needed more sauce. Overall great place to go. Plus there's 2 other places to eat or drink as well attached to the building. One part had a fireplace to sit by which we did and very much enjoyed.

Excellent tavern with truly friendly service. I stopped in for a nightcap after dinner and had a great time meeting some nice people. It was a nice end to a night filled with good food and drinks.

Dried out spinach and artichoke dip

Very disappointed! The service was extremely poor. Started with an appetizer of spinach and artichoke dip (pictured) it was so dried out and looked like it was sitting for days. Ordered a glass of wine and they were out of the selection so gave a glass that cost 50% more without even asking us what we wanted. The positive was the ambiance was nice with several fireplaces but would not return.

We ended up here because the Pub next door closed at 6pm. Crazy! The service was great. Our waitress (Tabitha) was new but she was so nice and very good. She was friendly and very accommodating. We felt bad for her because we sat down just after two customers were rude to her and walked out after ordering. They were not happy with the menu and took it out on her. We ordered the Brussels Sprouts appetizer. It was really good and a huge portion. I had the double OG Smashburger on a pretzel bun. The burger was way too big. Had I known, I would not have ordered a double. They never asked how I wanted it cooked and it was a bit too well done for me. I loved the thousand island dressing but needed more. Tabitha was kind enough to bring me more. I was not impressed with the potato salad - but my daughter liked it. My daughter ordered the fried chicken sandwich with a side of fries. She said it was very good. The French Fries were delicious. We enjoyed the meal in general and would go back.

Inside kind of feels like a farmhouse vibe with the browns and greens. The bar downstairs with the more formal seating upstairs is pretty cool. Service was good, waitress was warm and friendly; took our order timely, and wait times weren't overly long. My appetizer was forgotten at first but it was brought out a little after the meals were. I ordered the grouper finger appetizer and red snapper Provençal, and wifey had the filet mignon with sweet potato fries. My grouper fingers were light and fluffy with a touch of crisp from the coating. The snapper dish was tasty, not a fan of mushrooms but dealt with them since the overall combo of spinach, caper, and tomato went well. The fish was served skin side down, which was crispy. I get plating the accompaniments on top, but not on the skin, however should have removed the skin since it was pointless. The cookery of the fish was good, ends were a little chewy due to getting the skin crispy, but I didn't mind. The house rice was a bit mushy, but had a good flavor since the capers were also inside. Wifey's steak was cooked correctly and tasted good too. It came with bleu cheese and a butter sauce which went well with the fries and meat. She thought it was a nice meal. Overall, would return to Porterhouse if I ever visit Peddler's again.

We were seated after a few minutes of waiting but the actual dinner process took FOREVER! We didn't order an appetizer because our daughter suddenly wasn't feeling well. The waitress did come and apologize which I appreciate but I thought perhaps the manager would have come over or they would have given a discount for the inconvenience. I ordered cavatappi with mushrooms and spinach in a butternut squash sauce and added grilled chicken and my husband had the turkey dinner. I suppose maybe they had to go kill the turkey since it took so long..I really don't know. We ordered a child's meal to go for our daughter which was probably a mistake since it took so darn long. The wines were perfectly paired and we really enjoyed them all. The Nizzi Barbera was notable. Service was great and Gail was excellent providing history and explanations of all the wines. The second pairing had a bit of an issue with a corked bottle but all was made right. The chef came out as each course was served to explain the dishes and their preparation. Northridge is located in the working farm's lovingly renovated barn with an architecturally spectacular addition that includes beautiful beams, huge windows, and an incredible 2-story fireplace. The appointments are simple, yet lovely, and make for a warm, elegant dining space. And, every bite of food was amazing! Surprise pre-appetizers included delicious little biscuits and beautifully plated tiny bites: dollop of hummus topped by a sliver of crostini, adorable little jar of vegetable tapenade, bite of cheese with micro greens. From the $75 three-course pre-fixe menu ($65 w/ no dessert) I chose for my appetizer the duck on a little sweet potato waffle - such a unique combination of wonderful flavors! My main, salmon atop a leek puree, was perfectly cooked and, again, the flavors were amazing. My husband had the potato soup with lobster bits and it was absolutely delicious. His Veal Bolognese was a very large portion of pasta and slow-cooked shredded veal with peas, carrots, and a sauce that made us want to lick the bowl. Our desserts were a warm apple crumble and a delightful chocolate parfait served in a small jar. We met the owners, Mario and Mary, and were happy to rave about their wonderful job creating the space and choosing the excellent staff - from their talented chef to the friendly and attentive servers. Our BYOB fine-dining experience was well worth the cost and we'll go back, bringing along as many friends as we can!

I was very impressed by the way we were greeted by Noelle at the door. A little bit of history of the renovated barn turned into a cozy, well-appointed Stockton area BYOB, some smiling chat and then we were off to our table to what we were looking forward to since we made our reservation. I love the idea of the prix fixe menu with a well-rounded selection (fish, seafood, meat, and vegan choices, etc.) Apps The potato soup had a nice smooth consistency, full pieces of lobster meat, a touch of truffle. 4 stars The tuna tartare was fresh but seriously underwhelming. Not much flavor nor pizazz there. I wish I got something else. 2 stars Entrees The seafood ramen noodle thingy, explained to us that it was a newer item in the menu and very popular was the highlight of my evening. The stock is everything in ramen dishes and this was no exception. Excellent lobster stock and perfectly prepared shrimp, cooked to a snap when bitten into. The marinated egg was very different and very good. It had a nice strong tingling taste. 5 stars The braised short rib was tender but dry. However, when mixed with the au jus and pureed carrots on the plate, it livened and juiced the meat up. The roasted broccolini was inedible. Totally undercooked, chewy and a waste of a fine veg. 3 stars Dessert The peach and biscuit napolean presented itself fantastically, was looking forward to the first bite out of this jar of delight and then fell flat. The peaches were hard and tasted like unripen fruit. The honey and syrup and the sweetness of the whipped cream was all one can taste. Very disappointed and a waste of calories. 2 stars Service Hostess 5 stars, wait people 4 stars. It would have been 5 stars, or perfect, if we didn't have to wait 25 minutes for our dessert which was ordered pre-dinner. It's not like it had to be baked fresh, I didn't think. Maybe they had to whip up and bake the biscuits. And also, this was the type of place where you have to chase down your server to get your check and then once again chase them down to take your card. Now, would I go back? If I was in the area, maybe. Some of the other apps and entrees I saw being served looked very interesting. But that was the main problem I had here. Presentation was creative and art-like but some dishes ended up not living up to the vision.

Each time we return I am met with a 1-2 star review feeling based on cost / billing / and service I just can't shake. Go for the food. Stay because you get left for untold amount of time. Service is slow. We've been there 4 times and 1 time service was amazing. This last time we went, we were sat a table that was not a dinner table. I think it was an ill sized coffee table with a table cloth on it. The adults knees were above the table and the kids were sat in a couch that hit the floor. No mention or thought was given to who was sitting in this ridiculous makeshift table. Finally and the reason I was compelled to write a review - watch your bill. You have to put a downpayment down for reservations and 1x I went this was not deducted from my bill - I should have checked of course before I left, but last time I did not and had to go back and forth a few times to get my money back. And finally, soft drinks / lemonade. Glasses are small, packed with ice and when the server asks "do you want another drink" - he doesn't mention it will be nearly 5 dollars for minute maid lemonade. When you are (gladly) spending nearly 30 dollars for a burger to then have to spend 5 bucks a soft drink that is clearly understood as a free refill is a bummer. Hunched over celebrating my birthday this year - hit with a silly bill $20+ in lemonade - left to sit with no check in for a silly amount of time.
