Really happy with this spot today! I got fish and chips which was super fresh and a large portion (I was definitely not hungry afterwards). My parents however are both on keto which is why I'm leaving this review-- VERY keto friendly at this place! They ordered cheesesteaks with no bun, expecting just the normal amount from the sandwich on a plate. Instead they received what appeared to be double the amount in a nicely presented bowl! It was also very customizable which was lovely for their dietary needs. The inside is also super cool, they have tons of stained glass light fixtures, all of which are different!! @ paddlers village next to cock'n bull restaurant Visited on Monday around 4pm. The place has front seatings with a bar, TV and seats in the back. Had to wait a while to be seated. We ordered double patty smash burger with a sauce on the side and fish and chip. The draft yuegling was refreshing. The burger was fully cooked and thousand island dressing on the side as requested. The fish was little overcooked and French fries were little too salty for me. Our server was attentive and our food came out quickly. read more

The smells wafting up the steps were vastly better than the quality of the food. Chicken and dumplings was rather bland, not much chicken in the gravy. The "Pub-chos" AKA nachos, were rather lacking, small, and a puddle of tomato water sloshing around the bottom of the serving tray. The beer cheese was grainy and again... bland. Hopefully, they can tighten up the quality of their food because the service was good. The staff was hustling to ensure they could get people moving through the door. There was an inaccuracy in beer pricing on the menu compared to what was being charged, which concluded with the larger size actually being more money per oz than the 16oz, which was really annoying. I also think $12.50 for soup is criminal, but I guess they don't want a bunch of people just ordering soup and sitting in the seats for cheap. Seems like it would be more reasonable to mandate that you order something else with your more reasonably priced soup. However, I'm not the manager. read more

Smash burger was not a smashed? Not sure what the bacon onion jam was? Fried chicken sandwich looked like a grilled breast that was burnt. And the order of fries which is extra, are "steak" fries, also extra was the beer cheese topping, which we got three drops of. The beer was cold, but not worth dropping $60 on. read more

I came with a few other individuals and we were greeted by the amazing waitress, Paulette. She was amazing and the dearest I've ever had. The food was cooked incredibly and had the best taste. In conclusion, I would HIGHLY recommend this location if you're anywhere within the general area. read more

Very cute little stop to have a quick lunch while shopping the Peddler's village which was really cute. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The food is really pub tavern food BUT A MUST GET HANDS DOWN is the French fries OMG even if you stop for that its worth it and for a good drink. Pics are of their fish tacos which I was told that had a nice kick too it if you want spicy, the caprese sandwich and an interesting twist to apple pie called the apple cheddar pie - only one suggestion is just serve a little warm not all the way hot because it was a little too cold for it to be an apple pie. My girlfriend and I had a nice Christmas adventure visiting Peddlers Village in the afternoon and stopped in for a bite to eat and drinks. Got seated right away and started ordering with a cosmo and margarita. She ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich which came with a hot honey sauce on it. I ordered the Sweet & Smokey Smash Burger. Both needed more sauce on them. Couldn't taste the bacon jam on the burger and the chicken needed way more sauce on it. The fries were really good. Never seen fries that curled like that. Service was great and attended with everything. Left happy but just needed more sauce. Overall great place to go. Plus there's 2 other places to eat or drink as well attached to the building. A group of ten of us were going to Peddler's Village, so we ate at Hart's Tavern. I guess because of location, their busy time is more constant until 4:30 PM. Then there are more tables. They were very accommodating to our group. We had two tables next to each other. The food, especially the spinach artichoke dip,was magnificent. I would have preferred more chips with it but they were not as salty as most. Everyone was happy with their food. The service was magnificent. Unfortunately I do not know our waiter's name. Quaint and service was quick. The food was ok, not as good as typical bar food, but it did hit the spot on a cold day. The portions are fairly small and lacking in extras...the burgers and sandwiches only come with a small side of coleslaw - it's an upgrade to get fries and/or toppings on the fries which was disappointing. My Hart's melt was ok - the beef cooked medium but lacked in toppings - it was supposed to have onions but all I got was cheese. I was in New Hope for the weekend for wedding and Saturday afternoon we stopped in and had amazing experience. The server who believe name was Paulette suggested the Blueberry salad which was so refreshing on an incredibly hot day. She also gave some history about Peddlers Village which of course I didn't know. We ended up here because the Pub next door closed at 6pm. Crazy! The service was great. Our waitress (Tabitha) was new but she was so nice and very good. She was friendly and very accommodating. We felt bad for her because we sat down just after two customers were rude to her and walked out after ordering. They were not happy with the menu and took it out on her. We ordered the Brussels Sprouts appetizer. It was really good and a huge portion. I had the double OG Smashburger on a pretzel bun. The burger was way too big. Had I known, I would not have ordered a double. They never asked how I wanted it cooked and it was a bit too well done for me. I loved the thousand island dressing but needed more. Tabitha was kind enough to bring me more. I was not impressed with the potato salad - but my daughter liked it. My daughter ordered the fried chicken sandwich with a side of fries. We really can't rate the food since we never got seated. We waited at the hostess stand for 13 minutes before someone even addressed us. We did make eye contact and smiled at several wait staff. When the host finally approached us he said there weren't any tables that could accommodate us but we could sit at the bar. I counted four four tops and one two top that our party of two could have been seated. This was at 7:46 PM, the website said they were opened until nine. We opted to leave and go to Porter House Pub across Lower State Road (202) which was fabulous. We felt sorry for the three teenagers waiting behind us to be seated since they couldn't eat at the bar they were turned away. Horrible customer service. read more

This is a pretty solid place for what it is. Wonderful relaxing setting with window views to die for. Staff and bartenders are like family. All the food on the menu is rock solid. Everything is of good quality and priced fairly, no price gouging here. I've eaten here around 30 times in my life and never have been disappointed. The best thing about our visit tonight was the waitress. The 90 minute wait for a table made sense since Peddlers Village was packed, but there were open tables all night. They were probably a waitress and a bus person short. As for the food it came out quickly, but was sub-par. The artichoke dip was almost cold. My BLT salad was very plain. The added chicken was of the microwave variety. Another reviewer said the food was prepared in advance, that seems likely. I go to Peddlers village often, but probably wont return here. Stopped in for lunch before walking through the shops on a Saturday in December. They said there was a 20 min wait so we gave our number and walked next door and got a text our table was ready! I'd eaten here years ago and it's about the same as it was then. Typical bar food. The French dip was like what you buy in the Lipton packet but bread was tasty. I used to come here for years and I ate there today for July 4th. $68 for two burgers, a margarita and one lemonade I mean least our burgers came with fries. We ordered the special at a tavern usually I'm asked how would I like it nope it came out on a grocery store potato roll backed well done. I hate well done. Also, I kid you not that burger roll I could buy at a grocery store and a burger the size of a slider and tons of fries for $16? The blueberry lemonade was good and the blueberry margarita but the prices are not worth it go elsewhere at Peddlers so sad this place lost its juice.
