This was some of the best service I have ever received. We came in after a bike ride, exhausted and hungry. I was with friends that had been meticulously cautious about entering establishments, even after things were starting to "normalize" after COVID. They were reluctant to go inside, so I went in and did some recon. The bat was open, but the dining room was closed, with chairs on top of the tables. The owner had no wait staff for that room. Nevertheless, he opened it up just for us so we could stay relatively isolated. That worked.
Once inside, we realized we couldn't see our bikes, which were not locked. They allowed us to bring them into the dining room with us so we didn't have to worry about them getting stolen.
We were asked to order at the bar because of the staffing issue, but before we could do so the bartender came in to serve us. The whole experience was so accommodating and so friendly.
One star off for the food, which was not great, but the place is mainly a bowling alley/bar, and the food was better than average for places where food is not the main draw.
Would definitely go there again! read more
