I joined a group of friends for a meetup of Royal proportions. The locale is in a strip mall with a convenient and free parking lot not too far from the GSP. The service was amazing. The waitresses handled our group of 25 beautifully and with amazing patience. They will take orders manually, but they also have a kiosk to place and pay for your order while you take a seat and wait to have it brought over fresh out of the kitchen. There was not a dry mouth in the house. All were watering in delicious wait for what we each had ordered. The most popular dish? The brisket platter with choice of two sides. I chose the brisket sandwich and was fully pleased with it and the mac n cheese I chose to go with it. But, the way I saw folks went home with their leftovers planned for a second meal? Next time, it'll be a platter for me with hush puppies and their coleslaw with additional side of their baked beans. First time visit to the restaurant, have done take out in the past. The main dishes are very good. Enjoyed the ribs, chicken wings, and brisket. The fries were very good. Decent cole slaw. The beans came out cold which seems odd. The Mac and cheese is not special. Drinks are bottles and cans of soft drinks. It is not a large dining area, feels like most of the business is take out and delivery. I would go back and order take out when in the mood for BBQ. read more

Not impressed. The Buffalo mac n chicken bowl was not Buffalo in any way shape or form. The chicken was very tender but not Buffalo. Brisket was dry. The fries were $15 and there was a spoonful of chicken on top of some fries with cheese. Not going back. We had hpoed to be able to get a sample platter to try our various items but they have nothing like that. They suggested we order several platters instead!! The Facility is in a strip mall off of 37 East. The smell of smoked meats hit your senses as soon as you walk through the door. It is well lit and decorated as you would expect, with pictures of cattle, hogs and chickens, but not over done. The menus are pretty extensive. They offer a large variety of Pork, Beef and Chicken. We order the beef brisket and chicken thigh plates. Our sides were Mac & cheese, creamy and cheesy, baked beans( loaded with smoked pork, delicious . The brisket was juicy and fork tender, no knife needed. The Cole slaw was creamy and it had just the right amount of bite. The sauces we had were Carolina and barbecue, house made, both a great addition to the meats. You can't forget to order the corn bread, moist, soft and delicious. The food is amazing. The service very good at times it's busy expect a 10-15 minute wait but well worth it. The atmosphere is modern American bbq themed. The owner is usually on the property overseeing everything. Harry's been a land mark bbq server for many years both with the mobile food trailers, the restaurant and his catering. I have eaten at Harry's here in Toms River, a number of times. I can honestly say I am so very impressed with the delicious menu, and the staff who goes out of their way to help in any way. The staff was very good but when we walked in the place was cold. As we were eating the heat went on for 10 minutes then it got cold in the place. Had my jacket on and my wife also.
