Brightly lit and colorfully arranged it is an immediately engaging place where you can easily see all the items. They have a little bit of everything from colorful artsy pieces to more traditional styles and all at very reasonable prices for the high quality that you're buying. The ladies are amazing. They are friendly, outgoing, and extremely perspective. While we would talk about the ongoing plays I would suddenly find myself trying on a necklace that I thought I was slyly looking at all because they noticed my interest. They were never pushy, but instead just so conversational that it was easy to get lost in the moment. I ended up buying two necklaces that are regularly complimented and noticed by people. My mother bought two bracelets that she loves. Both were fantastic purchases and ones that I am very pleased with.

It's a smaller shop, but everything is kept really organized and neat (it's even got "themed" areas, so things are placed similarly for whatever your taste). The prices are higher than other gift-type shops, but the products are so unique and well-made, it's worth the extra few dollars. I browsed around on my own, but the woman working made sure to be available if I needed any help- and I'm sure she would be awesome at helping narrow down what you're looking for if you aren't quite sure. Lots of variety, and ample parking behind the shop. I definitely will be back!!

It's not next door for me, but we do occasionally find ourselves not too far from here. They sell quite a variety of spices and foods, soup mixes, baking needs, and of course housewares / home decorations. I could go crazy spending in here. We did pick up a jar of corn relish, which I tried out not long after getting home. I have to say it was pretty good! They also sell flavoured peanuts they call "chip nuts" (seems to be a local "Thing" around here, as they do have a bit of competition. OK by me! I love them!) Very surprised to read on this page that Coyle's has been around for so long - since 1899. More power to you! Shop Canadian. Wish we knew more about their history. Even if you are only seeing a play at the Avon Theatre and not at…read morethe Stratford Festival Theatre, I'd still suggest making a stop at the Stratford Festival shop beforehand. The surrounding area is very scenic, especially during Fall. The shop generally doesn't sell a ton of merchandise related to specific plays and is more focused on Shakespeare merchandise. They sold Shakespeare posters, books with Shakespearean insults, Shakespeare finger puppets and coffee mugs and t-shirts with your favorite Shakespeare play quotes. They also have an area that sells a ton of books and they have some DVDs and cd soundtracks of plays and musicals as well. I bought a Shakespeare coffee mug here but t-shirts and other merchandise for Rocky Horror Picture Show and Little Shop of Horrors was only available at the Avon theatre gift shop which was open before and after the show. Stratford Festival Shop is only open until 5:30 pm each day except for Sunday's when they are open until 4 pm and they are closed on Mondays. Very fun shop! I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

The cookies are fresh. In the past I was able to purchase these same maple cookies at Cross Border U.S. - Canada shopping by vehicle Duty Free many years ago which I greatly missed. Since I am unable to return to The Great White North I can now bring something from Canada into the U.S. Purchasing direct from manufacturer is always great without any hurdles. The maple cookies are very tasty. I had no problems with shipping from Canada into U.S. N.B. The charge will be in Canadian dollars onto my credit/debit card but my bank converts into American dollars.

There are many vendors selling food and they're all busy! After wandering around the market for a while, it was time to get some lunch. With tons of choices, and everything looking good, we took a little while to decide. We ended up with a chicken pita, roast beef pita, and a roast beef sandwich. We also had a couple different types of freshly made potato chips. It was all good. Of course, we had to have some apple fritters, perhaps the most popular food item at the market. The lineup went out the door, even though it was drizzling a bit. It was worth the effort. They were hot, freshly made, and delicious! There is so much to see, do, buy, and photograph at St. Jacobs Farmers' Market. The produce market alone offers so many great photo opportunities of picture perfect fruits, vegetables, flowers, and more. There is an abundance of great subjects, with most of them being very delicious We explored the market a bit more after lunch, picking up some fresh fruits before heading to our next destination.
