The Yelp gremlins strike again. I uploaded this place a few years ago with photos and it's disappeared.
So, briefly in case it disappears again, delightful haddock & chips for under £8, beautiful skinless and boneless fish and proper chips with all the salt and vinegar you can eat. For reasons I don't know had I opted for cod rather than haddock the same portion would have been nearer £12. I suspect haddock is more plentiful than cod.
Everything else is an extra - tomato ketchup, mushy peas, beans, onion rings. Real friendly server. The seating is communal and is very far from comfortable. Yes it's unhealthy food but apparently a little of what you fancy.... read more
