I was initially quoted $2.8k for the repair of a small piece of roof (50-60sqft) outside of our kitchen window. After I told the salesperson I wanted to discuss it with my husband, he returned with a new quote of $3.3k and claimed the original quote never existed. Since we already had water damage and needed the repair urgently because of the horrible CT winter, we felt pressured to move forward. But the repair also wasn't scheduled as quickly as promised. I had to make several calls to finally get someone to come out since the job was "too small" (yet they asked for three grand). Horrible sales experience. The technician, however, was excellent. When we experienced another small leak after the repair, he came back promptly and fixed it without hesitation. He was professional, responsive, and the only reason this review isn't zero star.

They had work by him done and I trust their opinion because they do their research. We set up an appointment for the estimate. I was running late by about 15 minutes from work and when I got there he had already did his walk through with his son. After talking for 5/10 minutes we quickly went inside so I could show him the attic. He noticed some stuff that the other people pointed out. Later on that evening I had an estimate and was subsequently cheaper than the competitors. As you can probably tell Blaine and his son got my business. The work was done while I was on a road trip. He contacted me early in the process and noted that more than half of my plywood was no good and was also 3/8". He suggested replacing it all with 1/2" and I was all for that. I wanted it done right. I came home to a clean home around the property and a brand new roof. Had I been home I would have taken the cars out of the garage as some debris had fallen which was a quick leaf blowing solution. The vibrations of the roofers also knocked one of my pictures off the wall but looking at how I had it hung it was poorly done so no fault on their part. My house was left exposed to the elements for several months (because they started a job not realizing they didn't have the right materials).
