(I almost did!) One if mostly clothing and accessories. The other contains bags, candy, and many other treats. I purchased a cosmetic bag set and a small fabric tote bag. (I have received so many compliments on the tote bag since returning home!) They were reasonably priced and perfect for what I wanted. The cashier was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The store was a little crowded but pleasantly displayed and decorated.

Date: August 28, 2026…read more Experience: My mom and I got here about 10 minutes before closing time because she wanted me to get a glimpse of what this place looked like and this was the only time we could get before setting of for our set tour. With the little amount of time we were there, I could see how this place is so popular with the luxury goods, food offerings, and the picturesque decor when traversing the main floor. There was still a good amount of people walking around either browsing or shopping and even some people came in later than us to check Harrods out I would definitely want to make an effort to check out this place to its full extent and to check out their food cause they had a section of just cheeses that I would love to try in the future.

We trekked to Harrods because there was something specific I wanted to purchase as a souvenir. I…read morehave seen many pictures of the exterior of the department store so it should have dawned on me that it is extremely, extremely large. In fact, the length of a full city block. Literally, I wanted to buy a Harrods keychain with a cheeky saying on it. Trying to find a keychain in a department store this big is truly trying to find a needle in a haystack. Nothing made me feel more poor than wandering through wings of luxury products looking for a ... keychain. There are four notable things about Harrods that make this a must-visit. First is the over-the-top Egyptian decor, which is most notable around the main escalators. Second is the food hall, which has so many enticing things that are all reasonably priced. It's fun just to walk around and peek at the displays. Third is the Harrod's Gift Shop (Lower Ground floor), which is where I eventually found the Harrods branded keychain with the cheeky saying. Fourth, they currently have a Jellycat Airline display. We couldn't get in because there was a convoluted way to get a ticket, which you could only do at a designated entry way and wait in a long line. It was both immensely interesting and exhausting to have visited Harrods.

But also many "American" brands. See their website for all they sell. Atmosphere - Open 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm and on Sundays from 11:30am to 6pm. Good size department store, almost like a maze...? Not sure if it is due to an older building or done intentionally to make you walk the entire store (think Ikea). Or it could have just been me since they have a bar here and I got confused/lost my sense of direction... Service - Okay. I am always in favor of businesses with bars. My wife shops and I drink. And she can bring her bags to me to watch so she doesn't have to carry them; win/win! Price - 4 to 7 pounds a beer at the bar; reasonably priced for an upscale department store. I did ask what my wife bought, but honestly I prefer not to know. :) Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2003 with your 8+ locations and 9+ restaurants/bars.

Too many stalls/food displays near the entrance meant people are pushing and shoving to get into the store itself. On a Saturday morning, a shocking amount of food in the veg section was completely empty. Staff appear so frustrated that they are literally shouting at the top of their voices to direct people around the store and to the tills. Not a nice experience. I heard a few people say they prefer shopping at Waitrose - I think I might count myself in that group too. Maybe it's just teething problems - but sadly I really didn't enjoy my shopping experience after the store has been shut for 7 months

My preferred section is Limited Collection - for stylish on-trend clothes and accessories - which could often compete happily with designer brands. The top floor has all their renowned lingerie ranges, categorised in relatively easy-to-find themed display units. However, in some respects it can get confusing here, from time-to-time, as they do like to move departments around. Perhaps it's a good thing to have the menswear together with home and interior items, in a separate store across the road; you have to be pretty determined to want to visit both on the same day, so it could be one way of limiting your expenditure or avoiding a battle with the other half
