He said no. Well I get that they haven't looked at it but they should be able to look up hours and parts to give me a ballpark figure. The key word is estimate. The person who owns the car has very little money as she is a day care worker and is probably going to have to borrow the money so we needed a place to start for the amount needed. The person I was speaking with showed no emotion barely sat in the chair and said he could give me the price of the part which of course I can look up. He didn't offer any help with telling me the shop rates and the time estimated to do the work so that I could figure an amount to start with. I lived in peculiar and used to use Robert's for tires for many years. I found them friendly fair and helpful. I would not use their business now.
