Definitely an interesting gadget.

They continually upgrade their equipment. They are not known as the hippest gym in town, but it is a great place to work out. The one area they are lacking is updating the dressing rooms / restrooms. The entire time I have been a member the facilities have always been below standard. If this were remediated I would give them 5 stars.

Appalling business practices, will not stop taking money from us…read more Initially tried to cancel our membership when the COVID-19 pandemic was still in full swing. Called up to do so, nope. They wouldn't accept that, we had to go in-person or they wouldn't accept it. (Shows you what they actually think about the health of their clients.) Didn't get cancelled, the payroll draft was still going out. Tried to cancel through other means (bank/work) but no, only in the gym itself. Eventually went in, filled out forms, done -- or so we thought. Payday comes, still going out. Okay, maybe we missed the cutoff for that month? Waited, and nope, still going out. My husband called them and complained. Manager was very apologetic--the paperwork wasn't done right, employee was new, mistake on their end etc. It would be cancelled and we would be refunded. Nope. Payday again, it's STILL going out. Called them AGAIN...and this time, they say "oh but it's a 30 day contract so we're allowed to charge you for another 30 days AFTER you cancel..." Get outta here. You've been taking $60 a month from my family for MONTHS, stop stealing peoples money you skeezy, unprofessional bunch of scammers.

I was so excited when I found the opportunity to workout at one again in Wilson! I have always and will always recommend HOTWORX to everyone!

I went with a friend to try this place out. It was supposed to be a nice relaxing workout but all I…read moreheard was a baby/toddlers shrieks and screams!!!! Apparently the owner decided to bring her child to work. During the whole workout you couldn't relax or even hear the virtual instructor for the shrieks and screaming- then her saying "we don't scream/shhhh". I decided NOT to join because I feel that was so unprofessional. I get that you are young and you have a family but think of it this way-how would you feel if you came to workout, relax and have a good workout-but you can bc you have to hear somebody's child screaming!! It's freaking annoying!!! Also, I want to note I went up to ask the young lady a question at the front. I look over and see the owner not even looking up- texting on her phone while I'm standing up there waiting for an answer. I feel she's extremely snooty. I'll stick with Planet Fitness! I'm not trying to be mean, but if you have a child either stay home with him or either put him in daycare. For the membership price of this studio, which is pricey you should not have to hear a baby shrieking and screaming during your workout!! Keep your baby at home!!! My friend says it's not only during the day but it's in the afternoons/evenings as well!!! I come to the gym to get away from my children not to hear another's persons child screaming at the top of his lungs while I'm trying to work out!!! Hayley get a babysitter or stay at home!!!!!!

Customer Service was excellent. The Box Office sold $25 wristbands daily. They moved the lines pretty quickly. Parking was effortless and I did not have to pay. The venue offers concessions and a Bar. They have a display of what is served daily for Concession. Mostly pizza, nachos, hot dogs etc. We decided to wait and get food while on our trip home. The lighting in the gymnasium needs to be replaced. The light fixtures have very low dim lighting. This was terrible when filming the event. My eyes were hurting after a while. I appreciated how clean the restrooms were and the overall venue was spacious and well ventilated with air conditioning and several fans placed on every court. Great planning . Kudos to the team.

Several of the axe throwing stalls were open so we started there. Then we did the pirate putt putt, and it was amazing! The effort they put into the decorations and hole designs was evident. Next we tried out the arcade area, which is much larger than you would think from the outside. From there we tried the second putt putt area with a retro feel; even the music was spot on. We wrapped up with mini bowling and had a blast. The food is reasonably priced but nothing special. We would have spent more if they had a kitchen/ grill like you would find at a bowling alley. The drinks ranged from bottled water to sports drinks to soda to alcohol. Overall the building and equipment were clean and well maintained. The staff were very nice and helpful. The majority of the building is accessible, including the multi-stall bathrooms and activities like mini bowling. Other than the gendered multi-stall bathrooms there are several single stall gender neutral bathrooms but only one was in service when we went. The single stall bathrooms are located inside the entrance to the retro putt putt, inside the arcade area, and just before you get to the VR area.

They have a variety of beers and food options. From pizza to popcorn and ice cream. We tried a cream cheese stuffed churro. They are also setting up a whole VR room we were chosen to test it out. It's still under construction but once they finish I know it's going to be a popular choice. Lastly they have a huge set up for cornhole tournaments. We really enjoyed our time.
