The owner really wanted it to be a safe space and this is what this is for me. My failures are not even addressed! Someone will come up to you and help you get into the position you were trying to do on your own so we can at least look at it and know what it feels to accomplish this move. I'm so proud of the owner and happy that she has creates this safe space in Greenville. They even offer other dance styles such as salsa, bachata, hip hop. EVERY DAY!! She has created hours that cater to those that work night shift and hours that cater to those that work early and need to be in bed by 7 like myself. I'm hooked now and try to attend as much as I physically can!

My niece earned recognition alongside her peers, yet her name was skipped during the awards ceremony. Staff was informed before the event ended and still failed to correct it publicly, despite having the chance to do so. The most disturbing part was the response afterward. Instead of showing empathy, accountability, or any real concern for the emotional impact this had on her, the studio's solution was essentially to remove the family altogether for speaking up. Rather than making things right, they chose to silence the concern by telling them to find another studio. This was not just a simple mistake, it was the complete mishandling of a child's feelings and a family's valid concerns. Any business working with children should understand that moments like these can deeply affect confidence and self-worth. The response from leadership came across as cold, dismissive, and more focused on protecting the studio than caring about the child they hurt. Families should think carefully before investing years, money, trust, and emotional support into a place that appears unwilling to take accountability when they fail a student. A dance studio should build children up, not leave them feeling embarrassed, excluded, and disposable.
