The hype for this place is real. It's a tiny, hidden gem on Polk Street that feels like stepping…read moreinto a chic cafe in Tuscany. The interior is so aesthetic very minimalist and cozy We ordered: * The Classico (on Focaccia): This is easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The focaccia is airy and salted perfectly. It comes with prosciutto crudo, fresh tomatoes, basil, and a huge, creamy portion of burrata. It's elevated but simple and so delicious. * The Rustico (on Ciabatta): If you like a crustier bread, get this on the ciabatta. It has bresaola (salted beef), arugula, tomato, shaved parmesan, and a lemon aioli that ties it all together. Service was great and very helpful It's the perfect lunch spot in Hollywood. I'm already planning my next visit to try the coffee and more food

First off I was just so happy they had multiple items without pork as we eat halal. They also had a veggie sandwich option which I will try next time! This is not your typical tuna/mayo sandwich, it is literally a piece of art. The tuna sandwich is DIVINE!!! I came here two days in a row just for this! The ingredients taste extremely fresh and light. The bread was perfect too. Wish I lived here, would go here everyday. I also got the matcha strawberry latte and it was perfect. You can really tell they put an emphasis on high quality ingredients. Owner is passionate about his work, you can taste it.

PhastBreak CheeseSteak - Supreme cheesesteak + fries. Canned mushrooms, yuck.

We stopped by on Saturday around 4pm. The place wasn't very busy, probably because they were still new and people probably didn't know about it yet. A cheesesteak sounded good when we were trying to decide which foods we wanted to share with our group. We were really excited about this one but unfortunately were disappointed. You have to look really hard to find PhastBreak Cheesesteak, as they don't have official signage in front of their booth. When I first found them, I wasn't even sure what they were serving until I saw their menu on the TV. We actually ordered this cheesesteak from our table with the QR code. Convenient, but also there was no notes section for any modifications. So we placed the order and I went to talk to them about putting the mushrooms on the side since my party doesn't like mushrooms. I also mentioned we ordered fries, and the guy looked at me and said they didn't have fries. The lady working with him confirmed they do have fries and he has to go in the back area to get the fries. When I had asked for the mushrooms on the side, same guy asked if I wanted it cooked and I said yes please. I thought that was an odd question to ask. Honestly, it looked like they were still trying to get everything together. I kept reassuring them no rush on our order as we had other food coming and were very patient. They delivered the cheesesteak to our table, which is really cool. But when the sandwich arrived, it looked underwhelming. Ordered the supreme cheesesteak with mushrooms on the side. Mushrooms were definitely canned mushrooms, yuck. Didn't taste any onions, they diced the onions and minimal. Green pepper, only saw a few pieces as well. The cheesesteak needed more cheese. Meat was lacking too considering the price point of $18. Our side of fries was weak. At a whopping $24 with tip for cheesesteak and fries, not worth it. I understand they are still new and trying to figure things out. I honestly hope they do well in this new food hall. It was just a miss for us. Too pricey for what you get.

Are here last night at the food hall. It was so good. Huge sandwich for a good price. Definitely…read morewill return.
