Harris Teeter located in Creedmoor Village was larger inside than I expected based on the size of the parking lot. I had no problem finding a parking spot though. A larger store meant more options and it was great in that regard. The layout of the store is nicely done and it appeared clean. The produce department was mostly good, but was picked over and not restocked around noon on a Sunday. The sale items on the shelves were similar. I liked that they carried three varieties of the Quaker Oat Squares cereal as I have trouble even finding one variety at other Harris Teeter stores. The shelf placement on the top shelf with the boxes left in the back meant that I could not reach them so could not purchase them. Most shoppers won't be able to reach them. They did have more varieties of Fage yogurt, unlike the other Harris Teeters, so that was a good thing. There were only two checkouts open during a busy time of the day. read more

I stopped at the store around 10 pm tonight and asked the manager, Jim, to fill a balloon for my daughter's birthday. He said there is no one there able to fill balloons tonight. Luke, who is a great employee, was running the register, so Jim could have done it. The last two times I was at this store within the past 2 weeks, a young great manager filled the balloons for me at the same hour. I love this store but I don't think Jim is a quality manager after watching his work ethics. read more

I had picked out a beautiful looking fruit tart just a few minutes ago.. when I took it up to check out, the ladies were very nice. They had asked if I had a VIC card, which I do not. (The price was $10.00 with the VIC card and $18.00 without it). I was bummed.. As I was patiently waiting for another cashier to get change to break my twenty dollar bill, I realized that my mother shops here quite frequently. So I asked if she is able to look up a phone number so I'd be able to save money. She replies, "I've already scanned the fruit tart.." I said, "oh, so you can't rescan it and allow me to use the VIC card?" And that was that! She handed me the two dollars in change.. and after a few second stare, I walked out the store. It's not the end of the world.. but I had paid almost double the price all because the lady was not willing to cancel the transaction, and rescan it for me. This Harris Teeter is very close to my house. Noramlly, before this grocery store was contructed, I'd have to travel at least fifteen minutes to get my essentials. Now, I travel about a minute and bam, a grocery store. This is good because there are many people who live here who are in the same situation as me. There is a large private parking lot exclusive to Harris Teeter and the frocery store itself is very large. There is a large assortment of goods and the employees are very friendly. Most of the time, there are barely any people there so it is practically empty. Thus, more efficient shopping is done. I cannot say enough convenient it is to have such a large grocery store so close to the house. It is the go to place for all of our foods and necessities. I am a regular here. read more

No artisan bread section. Rotisserie is chronically empty and rarely stocks the daily specials unlike other stores. Long lines on most occasions due to inactive registers / under staffing. Management oblivious to HY standards of customer service. This HT is 1 mile from my home - but I drive 15 minutes out of my way to go to other well managed stores. From 2 months ago ... Waited in line with others for 20 mnutes due to single register being open while store manager Owen counts cigarettes at the customer service instead of helping out with the checout queue. I come here nearly 4 days per week. Try to avoid store after 6 when this kid is running the show. Totally different vibe during other shifts. read more

Decent, new HT. It's a HT - not much to really say about it, the layout is the same as other HT's, and the aisles don't seem to be as crowded (both people and merchandise) compared to other grocery stores. In fact, I was shocked at the wide open space upon entering the store. The store appears to be clean. This is the first time I've seen the "Shop Online and pickup" option since leaving NoVA 8 years ago. I'm somewhat skeptical of that option though - my skepticism lies in that I want to be sure I'm getting the "Best" product I can get and not get damaged, nearly outdated or banged up goods that the employees are trying unload on the unsuspecting customer like I've had to deal with at the big box type stores. On the other hand, if the employees were to pick my produce, bread milk or whatever as though it was for them, I might be inclined to use this option. If this store has issues, it's because it's undermanned. 5pm on a Sunday afternoon and the line for the checkouts are 4 deep for the 4 open registers, with a line waiting to get into those lines going clear across the store. While waiting in those lines, one can peruse through the grocery carts of discounted items - those discounted items are way outdated - "Best by" date indicates an expiration of several months ago. read more

We just spent $45 for a filet and a ribeye. After getting them home, realized the filet was not actually a filet but some cut of meat to resemble a filet. My husband cut so much gristle off it there was barely usable. Maybe for fajitas or something. The ribeye also got a big trim job. Ended up with about half the original ribeye. Wont be going back to this place. costco has better meat than this place. The teeter on Durant has way better meat than this location. read more

This is a very new Harris Teeter that might be out of the way for most...but I like it. I have yet to go and they be super busy, which has allowed me to bring my two children and not worry that they were going to disturb or bother any one. The store has a very nice produce section and everything is laid out so you can find what you need without too much trouble. They also have my favorite things ever...the express lane shopping. The lane to pickup your groceries once you shop online is conveniently located in front of the store. Customer service is always good and if you are not happy, HT will do everything they can to make things right. read more

I love this location. It's a little out of the way for me, but it's a nice drive on a country road to get there and the store isn't overly crowded. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I've had people go out of their way multiple times to help me locate an item or address a question. The store is very clean and shelves are always stocked. I use the deli a lot and they are wonderful. Very prompt and courteous and slice whatever I want exactly as I ask for it. I do like that they carry a variety of items and that they always seem to be adding new and interesting things to try. This appears to be the case throughout the store. The fruit and vegetables are usually pretty fresh. They do carry some local items. I wish they would make an effort to carry more. read more

This location struggles with it's meat department. We visit anywhere from 1-2 times a week. Meat selection is always minimal, and usually close to end date. If we are looking for it, or in need; it is never there. On a trip previous, they miraculously did have what we were looking for; but there was a even catch then. For about a $7-$8 thin t-bone steak, they wanted $30 each. We were finally fed up, and got a manager. He apologized for the meat dept, and corrected/discounted the meat on the spot. Then tonight as usual, meat market - sparse. Rest of store, no issues - ever. Again, discussed with Manager about lack of product in meat dept. Apologized and blamed Harris Teeter, advising he cannot sell what they do not send to him; or in sufficent qty. Pretty much cut and dry. No offer to substitute or help further with this tonight. Wish we had checked the meats first, would have been smart. Looking for another market chain, to meet our family grocery needs. Just cannot waste anymore drives out to that location, and be empty handed. I welcome any suggestions, especially when it comes to economical, fresh, and available meats. Ty! read more

Sitting in the parking lot right now, MAJORLY disappointed.. no idea why their new hours are midnight. Harris teeters are supposed to be open 24 hours. It's the only grocer nearby and sometimes things happen and are needed late... pitiful. Not happy at all... besides the fact of sporadic closings before when they'd have cleaning, selling open stale product, not having my favorite brand of wine.. sorely disappointed, quite mad in fact. We are in the express pickup now. First, they called and said groceries were not ready, so we had had to make a special trip. Then they called and said the order was ready, but we have now been waiting for 10 minutes, and still no groceries. I won't be buying groceries here ever ever again. read more

My favorite location. I pass 3 other grocery stores on my way to this one if that says anything. This store is always so clean and the staff so friendly. I have recently utilized their online shopping called "express lane" which is a total game changer. This service really helps those on the go. They call ahead of your pick up time to let you know its ready and ask if you need anything else. Then once you pull up to the front, they promptly load your groceries into your trunk. Just moved to the area wow am not used to a grocery store being so amazingly empty! Fresh food and fish stocked well. Large wine selection..only downside is no coffee shop inside (I've been spoiled). 4* only because it was quite obvious I was looking for items and could not find and yet there were multiple workers standing around the aisles gossiping to each other. read more

I love this store! The managers and other staff are always welcoming. I'm one of the regulars and they call me by name. The deli staff go out of their way to serve everyone. This can be a busy area most of the time! The location is great too. I so glad we finally have a grocery store around here. The convenience has made dinner at home much easier. Harris Teeter has a great selection of brands and their meat counter is one of the best. Great location, great store! read more
