I just literally spent half an hour on the phone with a young lady named Selome. My daughter dropped off her prescription ( new) to be filled. I called to just provide Walgreens with a co-pay card information bc she didn't have it when she dropped it off. I thought co-pay cards save money so I wanted to apply it to this script. Salome patiently took the information. located the script that wasn't entered yet bc they are super busy and then entered it , applied the co-pay card, told me the balance due....... $$$$$ it was much more expensive than I was expecting and NOT the $4 on the card........ I then asked her to try it without the copay card, just sent to insurance....... Keep in mind that I just had her spend a ton of time doing it the first way...... she was happy to help me and was just so polite and professional about it. Ultimately, it was cheaper to not bother with the card and just submit to insurance. Heres the thing, so many people are so quick to be annoyed that you asked them to do something and then change your mind and have them do it the way they were going to before you butted into it and screwed it up.... but this lady wasn't. She was happy to be helping me and you could tell that she truly cared about getting me the best possible care ( price). I very much appreciate her willingness and the effort that she put into my call - she could have rushed me along or been snippy about all of it but she wasn't. She was compassionate and caring and respectful. She's an A+ employee and truly demonstrated perfect communication and compassionate care. Her kindness made a difference in my day. Salome - I work in healthcare and I would be honored to have people like YOU on my team - you did a great job handling this "difficult" customer. Thank you for going the extra mile for me! There is a staff member who tries to get me to sign up for another reward card (so she gets her quota I guess?) and whenever I decline, she seems a little upset. I prefer to use my existing account to take advantage of the coupons aligned to my account. There is a Minute Clinic in the back. I haven't had much interaction with the pharmacy, except for one time when I purchased allergy meds and the Pharmacy clerk was able to apply all my coupons and I got it for almost half the price!

My prescriptions have always been ready in a timely manner, they could find them and had items in stock. Once I had to go to Urgent Care just across the parking lot and my prescription was ready when I got to the pharmacy! They were helpful finding me a better price than my insurance on my last prescription. Last winter I used them for immunizations and they were very good at that too. There's a private room so your not on the sales floor.

I like this location better than the other ones in the area as it is still "newer" and a different area. They are usually fully stocked and carry pretty much everything, which is great. For the most part, this location is well-kept, organized and maintained well. The optical department is friendly as well. There are a lot of staff on the floors putting together pickup orders, so they are more familiar with the locations of certain items. The customer service is nothing to brag about. It's more a process...show the receipt, hand over the item, provide the return reason and get a refund. Done, next. Sometimes it can be a bit of a hassle. When checking out, I prefer to use the self-checkout lanes, which thankfully has expanded with more counters and is on both sides of the store. There is plenty of parking available, dedicated solely to Walmart.

The parking lot is always packed, as well as the store itself. At night, it is extremely dark in the parking lot....not sure why they don't have more lighting. They have unique offerings that the other locations don't have, such as a small bar, a hot food bar (regular food & Asian food), but they aren't always 100% full when we come. They also have the pizza station, which is offered at other locations. This location doesn't always seem to be stocking their shelves the last couple times we visited. There's a Starbucks inside the store, which is also insanely busy with long lines.

In fact, my primary care doctor has become less responsive (that's another matter) than she should be, but the pharmacist helped by reaching out to her office about a matter I had been wholly unsuccessful with. There is a drive through for pharmacy purchases as well and although I don't use it often, I've found them equally helpful there. I wish however folks would not delay other customers by asking questions in the drive through - those should be taken inside (in my humble opinion).
