Just like all of the ABC Stores, it is very well kept up. They have special-buys via the manufacturer. It may include a tee shirt, or a small shot glass or other fun promotional items. At the risk of sounding redundant there is a welcomed professionalism to the way Government ABC Stores operate as opposed to liquor stores in another state or an off license store (which is what liquor stores are called) in Europe. They are not quite as large as some of the other ABC Stores in Charlotte, but they have everything you could want and the shelves are always stocked, neat and the prices are clearly marked. I like that it is located in a convenient shopping center. It's directly on George Lyles along with my favorite grocer, a great pizzeria, pharmacy and plenty of well lit parking nearby.

So I asked when was the sale date, and I was told the sale started on Wednesday, which made these cookies four days old! I asked the clerk if she had any freshly baked oatmeal raisin cookies, and she told me that they are not a big seller, so they don't bake them daily like the other cookies! Then I asked her, since the cookies were four days old, would she be willing to knock something off the price! She informed me that they don't do that and if I wanted the cookies, I had to pay the sale price! I thanked her for her customer service! I was even able to have the young lady sell me the pizza dough that they use, which was nice! I was able to make a breakfast pizza with the dough that I purchased, and it was delicious! Everything seemed well stocked, organized, and clean. I found everything I needed and then some. I just might take the extra drive to this location moving forward!
