I highly recommend Harris Rooter Service for all of your plumbing needs! I had a broken shower cartridge which put my shower out of commission. After receiving a ridiculous quote from another plumber, around $600 to do the job, I sent out a few requests via yelp for quotes, and got much more reasonable quotes (i.e., less than half the price). Mr. Harris was very responsive and his quote was reasonable and in line with the others, and scheduled my job for the following day. On the day of the job, not only did he show up on time, he showed up early to diagnose the issue and find the right replacement part. He patiently waited while the staff at my building figured out how to turn of the water. He quickly fixed the problem, cleaned up the area, and gave me a fair price in line with the quote. What more can you ask from a plumber? He'll be my first call for my next plumbing issue. read more

I believe that Harris is one of the best rooter services in LA. I've used many other plumbers and rooters before and Harris gets the job done. His quotes are accurate and he takes very logical steps to rooting. I've used Harris for rooter service more than a handful of times. He usually can get to my location within 1-3 hours, and sometimes faster. And has got the job done every time within an hour, to date. read more

I was impressed by the service and will recommend Harris Rooter to my friends.

Honest, fast, very fair price. Highly recommended. Called 3 other guys before I said yes to him to do the sink problem and he is the most affordable plus he was here 15 mins before the scheduled time. I'm an architect & I understand plumbing but I didn't tell him til he finished the job. He is honest with his services. read more

In search of a plumber for a clogged bathtub drain, I used the quote request option on Yelp to contact several vendors. Mr. Harris responded in a timely manner with a great, competitive quote and a 30-day warranty. I was able to make an appointment right away. He showed up on time, fixed the problem quickly, and even took time to answer questions from my tenant. Great, pleasant guy to work with. It's been about 4 mos. since he serviced the drain, and all is still fine. Definitely will be a repeat client in the future! read more

Being out of state, I have to rely on contractors remotely and who can communicate quickly when problems arise. Aaron did just that- he was easy to schedule with, he provided a fair estimate, performed the work in a very reasonable amount of time and the final bill was in agreement with the original estimate. I will be using Harris Rooter Service going forward. read more

I used the Yelp request a quote service and Harris responded immediately. My request was relatively simple: replace a faucet with one I had already purchased. Harris quoted me a range over the phone. He showed up the next morning promptly as scheduled, was very patience on a snafu on my part and installed the kitchen faucet efficiently. He followed up with invoicing me on the low end of the quote he gave me over the phone - which was a really good deal. I highly recommend Harris. Very professional, prompt, great communication and great work. Thanks Harris! read more

I had a plumbing emergency in one of my tenant's units so I jumped on Yelp to try to find someone who could help me right away. I stumbled across Harris Rooter and took a chance because they had good reviews. This was the best decision I could've made. The gentlemen who came provided me with excellent service! He was punctual and professional. He was very knowledgeable and explained to me what he was doing as he was fixing the pipes. He taught me things I didn't even know about my own plumbing system. He repaired the problem in my tub, toilet and sink. The price was fair and worth every penny. Money well spent! I will definitely be using them again. Thanks you guys! read more

There's nothing more dreadful than getting ready for a shower in the evening and realizing you can't because the water in your bathtub won't go and you've got a tub full of water -- and it happens on New Year's Day! I called around a few emergency plumbing services without response before I found Aaron here on Yelp. He's the only one who answered directly and even offered to come out on the same night. I have another bathroom I can use and felt bad making him come out on a late night on a holiday so he also offered first thing the next morning. He came earlier than scheduled which I appreciated (!) and fixed the drain issue in 20 minutes or less. I also asked him to fix my toilet because everyone tells me the bowl has too much water but he says it actually was working just fine. Aaron charges a very reasonable rate for his services and charged me the lowest end of the quote he gave me over the phone. Don't hesitate -- just call him for all your plumbing needs. read more

I didn't hire them. They charge a $39.99 service charge to come out and see the work that needs to be done. My understanding is that most plumbers won't charge this fee. read more

I messaged Harris Rooter Service this morning and Aaron immediately responded. He came to my condo to locate a leak and was extremely professional. The previous plumber we used could only guess where it was and said the opening was too small to see anything. Aaron had a camera and took his time to locate the water spots. I highly recommend him because of his knowledge and pricing. My building manager even liked him and asked for his business card after. Thanks Aaron! read more

I had several things that needed repair - had to change one kitchen and one bathroom faucet, also one of the shut off valves of the bathroom faucet wasn't shutting off the water and had to be replaced, and the line of my washing machine was clogged and had to be cleaned out. Harris Rooter Service responded the quickest to my estimate request here; he came at the first available for me time and did a wonderful job. Everything is working as it should. Highly recommended! I contacted Harris Rooter Service through Yelp's request-a-quote feature. I also contacted a few other plumbers, but none of the other companies would give me a quote or even a rough basic estimate of what to expect in terms of cost. I have had some bad experiences with companies that refuse to give quotes beforehand, so I appreciated the upfront response from Harris Rooter Service. My plumbing problem was fixed quickly, and I would recommend Harris Rooter to anyone looking for knowledgable, friendly, honest, and affordable service. read more

Fast, efficient, and fair price. Fixed my clogged sink in Downtown LA, when others didn't want to service the area.

We have been sent Harris Plumbing a few times by our home warranty company (Sears). Last week we called, were scheduled for last week and once again had a no call no show. It has been a week and we have not heard anything from this company. The last time was about a month ago while we in the process of a kitchen remodel. All work was at a halt until the plumber came out, an appointment was made, the plumber didn't show and no progress was made for over a week. We made several attempts to make contact, the company doing the kitchen remodel made several attempts to make contact, we were a day away from finding a new plumber when we were finally contacted. There is nothing wrong with the work this company does, when the work actually gets done but having more than one no call no show appointment is unprofessional and absolutely unacceptable. We are also contacting Sears and suggesting they stop outsourcing to this company because I am sure that we are not the only family that this has happened to. read more
