Late night nuggies and corn dogs at the grundle are an excellent fine dining experience.

I looked here for reviews and pictures and saw it was 3.0 stars. I'm glad yelp reviews don't deter me from trying this place out. If it's not a franchise, I'm willing to give it a shot as long as the pictures of the food look good from the patrons. Ordered the ribeye and veggies. Delicious and perfectly cooked the way I want. I will definitely be back.

First off let me say it was hands down the worst most bland food I have ever paid for, I've had better Thanksgiving meals at my kids elementary school. The Service The service was slow, uniformed, and didn't serve the whole table at once. I requested Earl Grey tea and cream and sugar was brought a bin of all herbal tea, sugar substitute and the little gas station half and half's. The coffee that I requested to replace the tea was brown water made with some kind of unidentifiable stale dried out pre ground product that may or may not have had actual coffee in it. The Restaurant Carpets and booth were absolutely filthy cobwebs everywhere so it definitely wasn't a "today" type issue. The Food The salads themselves were not horrible although the tomatoes and cucumbers were not fresh the dressing on the other had was some kind of off the shelf food service mix of hate and preservatives The main course was an insult to Thanksgiving and food in general. The Meat both the Turkey and ham were under seasoned ( how do you under season ham) and so dry you pretty much needed a garden hose to gag either down. The dressing was just a wet mush of what may have been solid food at some point but had devolved into some kind of putty. The mashed potatoes were not creamy at all, under seasoned, and not uniformly mashed, the gravy tasted like a mix, the cranberry relish was just jelly scraped out of a can but the the green bean casserole was the absolute worst thing on the plate it had the consistency of mucus and around the same flavor profile. I don't know how the food is during a non holiday meal but this was a waste of money and time we brought 90% of our plates home and gave it to our chickens. Will not eat at this establishment again, wouldn't recommend this place to even republicans .

You know the food is going to be fantastic in a no-frills, simple, homey atmosphere like you'll find at Sherpa Kitchen. Our water came in THE CUTEST little cups, and our server was QUICK to refill them and get our orders in. Loved them, bless their heart for taking care of that whole restaurant with grace, professionalism, and pep in their step. And BOY were we hungry we started off with the vegetable samosas (chefs kiss...perfect and crispy and full of spice and fluffy potato!) and...drumroll please...the beef momos....which have simply STOLEN my heart. The beef was perfectly seasoned and juicy and the sauce was the icing on the cake! We followed up with chicken tikka masala (NOT your average...way more complex and tasty! Sometimes chicken tikka masala just tastes like tomato sauce, a little curry powder, cream, and a broken heart. The one at Sherpa Kitchen, however, blew every other chicken tikka masala I've ever had right out of the water) and chicken saag. The chicken in both dishes was some of the most tender chicken I've had it my life. It fell apart on the fork and soaked up the curries SO nicely. By golly. I know I'm not giving as much attention to the saag, but I swear to you, it was special, hearty, perfectly spiced, and the spinach really shone through without overwhelming the spice blend! The roti was phenomenal (step aside, naan, there's a new flat bread in town), and I truly cannot say enough good things about this meal. My one complaint...I should have ordered a mango lassi!!!!!! Guess I'll just have to go back tomorrow...and the day after that...and the day after that Happy Boxing Day to all!

Excellent food and service, and reasonably priced. We'll return in the future. (Characters,…read morecharacters, characters)

Located in the Courtyard (Marriott) Hotel, only a stone's throw from Lake Champlain and close to the center of Burlington, VT, the restaurant sits just off the lobby. I made a dinner reservation and we was seated by the window with a view of the park with the lake beyond. Off to a good start. My Dirty Martini was spot-on. The perfect balance of Tito's and brine. Only missing the 'bleu' cheese olives. I often order a second appetizer as my entree. My starter was carpaccio that was outstanding. The microgreens were a nice touch. The mussels (appetizer) that I chose for my main course were small in size but ample in portion and were the perfect choice for me. My husband chose the cheese platter for his starter. It was disappointing. Two slices of bleu cheese. Should have been three different ones for $15. And no VT cheddar? Not much imagination here. His Steak Frites was OK; the quality of the beef could have been better. We shared the spinach watermelon salad which was fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, we liked this restaurant and will return.

Poor service and mediocre food. Really that sums up the whole experience…read more Our server Jeff took our drink order in a rushed fashion and then Was off. While we waited for our drinks to arrive, we all perused the menu for last minute additions and there was Jeff asking to take our appetizer and food order. Maybe he was trying to be efficient but really, it was just rushed. Didn't see him for a longer than usual wait and then drinks, soups and salads came altogether and our 'chef' arrived and started setting up. Jeff returned and when we asked a question of him, his answer was curt (rude really) like he expected us to know the answer. He never returned to fill up empty water glasses, ask for drink refills etc. This was supposed to be a celebratory night, several birthdays in our party of 6. Getting him to show up and be helpful without attitude was like pulling teeth and his customer service skills were lacking and felt like he was doing us a favor waiting on us. The food was mediocre at best. Our hibachi orders comprised of upcharged Filets with seafood. And while I don't mind paying a premium, I should get the premium food to go along with that price, sadly all of the steaks were overcooked and the seafood was dry and rubbery, tough to chew! Two of the guests actually spit out the seafood as inedible. The steaks were ordered either rare or medium and sadly, everyone got well-done. The seafood was left on the cooktop far too long as well! Overall, the experience lacked the enthusiasm of someone happy that we were there paying bills. At $450 I expected much more. I've had better meals here, this was not one of them! Not really interested in returning any time soon.
