Had a great experience with AMC. Ben's prices are reasonable, but he is extremely professional,…read morethorough, and detail oriented. Many HVAC companies are huge operations that have a ton of overhead costs and so, they charge a lot. Or, on the other end of things, the small operations may be staffed with contractors who know how to do HVAC projects, but they may not be fully licensed to do the work (you need a licensed technician in order to be eligible for an equipment warranty). Ben has a lot of experience doing bigger jobs, but he also takes on smaller projects like the one I hired him for. I found AMC online after reaching out to a number of different HVAC contractors. Ben was the only HVAC contractor licensed, bonded, and certified that was willing to take on a project to install mini-split ductless air conditioning at my home for a reasonable rate. I wanted to make sure that the project would be up to code (because I was submitting a rebate request through LADWP that required building and safety permits). So the project involved extra work on his part to install multiple disconnect boxes and drainage that would meet the city's requirements. Just had the City come out and they signed off on the permit! I highly recommend that you reach out to AMC if you have an HVAC project that you need help on.
