This place was very busy but they moved fast and tables cleared out quickly. The fish came with 2 large pieces that were big enough to share. We only had the fish and chips but it was fresh and crispy and delicious! You pay at the register, find a table with your number and they will bring your food out to you when it is ready.

Cute little restaurant off the main road facing the ocean. Parking was relatively easy to find. The food was very fresh and tasty. I had the chicken strips and fries and my husband had the fish and chips. Loved the setting and the food. Service was also quick and friendly!

Quick and easy. They nailed fish and chips, and the fish burger was excellent. The star of the show was the calamari - been a lot of places, and this was up there. Lightly breaded and extremely tender - was cutting it with a fork. If I didn't live half way around the world this place would get sick of me.

Mr B had fish and chips four times on our Ireland trip, and he rated Harrington's the best. Talk about fresh, this was it! The mushy peas were some of the best we had also. Chips were served hot and tasty. This business gets busy with a line out the door, so go early.

Best Chowder for me since my arrival in Ireland! Tasty, meaty and delicious!!! It was hot and fresh when it came out. I had been disappointed with my first try on my first day in Ireland, but this one definitely made up for it!! Saving this restaurant for the next visit! In addition, I got the Irish Whiskey Coffee, it was okay but not as tasty as I thought. The added whiskey was delicious, definitely loving the Irish Coffee!! Come try and you won't be disappointed!

Good food, but the milkshake advertised as "delicious" was bad. We had goat-cheese salad and fish and chips with onion rings. All were good. However, the chocolate milkshake was more like chocolate milk. Milkshakes should be cold and thick. This one was cool and runny. It was made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup, not chocolate ice cream. It was much too sweet. I can eat almost anything, but I couldn't drink this milkshake.

Irish Breakfast + Bap

Total dive vibe up front and then second dining room in back, but honestly it was delicious and lots of local folks there which is always a good sign. We both did full Irish breakfasts and while it wasn't remarkable, it was well-priced and tasty.

Hake fish n chips

Best fish n chips I have ever had. Second only to Iceland! And the fried snickers and ice cream was crazy good. Get the hake fish!

It's a quick takeaway lunch choice. We only have 30 minutes before our boat tour to see the Delphi. So this restaurant is a good choice. It locates directly across the street from the tourist office. We ordered Dingle bay prawns & chips, it comes with a delicious pink mayo. Seafood chowder is delicious & fresh with big chuck of fish & couple mussels. I ordered the mashed peas on the side, but it's a bit dry. I'll definitely recommend this place if you are in Dingle and looking for a quick bite.

We ordered the following: Starters *House cured salmon and cod in nori seaweed - excellent, sushi quality, the cod was nice and salty, portion wasn't the largest *Warm smoked mackerel with horseradish and dill dressing - really tasty and a nice portion *Flash pan squid with chiles and coriander- outstanding with a kick Mains *Pan fried black sole on the bone, dill, and toasted almond butter-maybe the star of the show, a large portion, fall of the bone and the toasted almond butter was awesome *OOTB fish selection; John Dory, sole and halibut fillets served with a lobster sauce - the fish was great, but the lobster sauce had zero flavor *Dingle bay lobster from the tank- we got the last one, it was excellent The beer and wine were excellent. The service was great. The interior had a tile floor with a sort of Mexican fishing village theme. Reasonably priced for top level fresh seafood. Highly recommend.

The front is a basic and unassuming, but neat, blue building. Inside remains simple, but quality, with light wood, soft light, and sea themed decor. As the menu changes so frequently, a dish can run out that evening, it is handwritten on a chalkboard that is brought to the table. It was very difficult to choose, the entire menu was well done. The brown bread was also the best of the trip, theirs had more seeds and the right balance of dense. Be careful to not fill up on bread as you will not want to miss any of the rest of the meal. Since the menu changes so frequently, describing what we ordered is not helpful. Both dishes were incredible, fresh, cooked perfectly, and with interesting and well matched ingredients. We ate every possible bite. We managed to save room and share a dessert, worth every calorie. I'm surprised to see any negative reviews. In my option, for the quality of the meal, the prices were completely reasonable. If you are in Dingle (which if you go to Ireland you absolutely should as the town deserves a visit), make reservations!

Based on a recommendation, we made sure to add Boatyard to our itinerary while visiting Dingle. We grabbed a late lunch, both got fish and chips, and one of us got a cocktail. The fish and chips were tasty, not the best I've ever had. The fish was well fried and flaky sided with your standard chips/fries served with ketchup and house made tartar sauce, which was honestly the best part of the dish! Service was friendly and welcoming from entry to exit. The space is cute with a large main dining room up front with lots of natural lights and large windows looking g at the bay. There is a cozier dining room inside, along with two outdoor spaces once more formal than the other. The front patio looks great, but sadly du to weather and season, it was closed. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at The Boatyard. Definitely recommend it when in Dingle!

As we waited the tables started to fill up and, while hesitant about the reviews we read, we were encouraged by the number of people arriving. We enjoyed our drinks and thankfully got our order taken before the large group of 12 beside us and 3 other tables. While the appetizer came quickly. Our main courses didn't arrive until after ALL the other tables had ordered, were served and most of the people had finished their meals! During this period we were checked on once and were assured our meals were on their way. Then ignored. When we mentioned the extraordinarily long time that we waited and was told there was nothing they could do but apologize......a complimentary dessert....a drink on the house. Nothing! Service: inattentive and uncaring Food: Calamari was tender but the lettuce on the salad was wilted on old Tortellini tasteless and barely warm Mussels overcooked and gritty but the sauce was tasty. Served with a piece of soda bread that was cold from refrigeration. Atmosphere: Nice view, with outside seating if weather permits, it is a very noisy restaurant due to the acoustics of the interior's design. A very disappointing dining experience and a very sad experience for our first night in Dingle. Not at all worth the price paid! There are plenty of seafood restaurants. Skip this one.

I had the Fish Pie: salmon, cod, smoked haddock in white wine cream sauce topped with mash(ed potatoes). It had plentiful fish and was served very hot. I liked the variety of fish. The smokiness from the haddock complemented the simpler flavors of the cod and salmon. Potato topping was slightly browned under the broiler. The fries were good. This also came with another excellent pre-dressed small green salad and good coleslaw: light on the mayonnaise, tangy, and peppery. The wife had the fish and chips and I thought it the best of at least 3 we've had in Ireland. The batter was consistently crunchy, thickness appropriate for the fish, and the portion generous. Again, served with sides of the same green salad and coleslaw, and more mushy peas. I think the wife likes these more than I do. The server was welcoming, the surroundings inviting, and we spent a relaxing 35 minutes or so and, refreshed, continued our walking tour. Sadly didn't get to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding because we had planned on ice cream down the street. Looking at the website just now I see they have rooms upstairs. One described as "Cute Apartment" and the other as "Cosy Flat". Probably worth checking out if you're considering a stay in Dingle.

We tried the Dingle single malt signature - smooth and intense. The fish pie was our consolation prize after the fish and chips were sold out. Delicate, golden topped pastry over a bed of mashed potatoes with creamy fish in what is like a pot pie, was piping hot. It was served with a side salad, cole slaw and chips. Chips were very good. We shared a beetroot salad, which was excellent with yummy garlic bread. Sticky toffee pudding was the finale. It was good, not great. The edges were a little dry and the dough was coarse, not smooth and velvety as I hoped because of others I have had in the past elsewhere. The waitress saved us the last piece since she heard us talk about it. That was extra nice! Good atmosphere and service, good drinks.
