If you like to attend a Pharmacy School that feeds on fear, self promoting egocentric dinosaurs…read morethat pride themselves on how difficult their classes are, which always result in a high rates of failures, curriculum that creates confusion about what is important and what's not, yet tests on what's not, if you like to self medicate to deal with unprecedented and unnecessary stress, vomiting, and diarrhea before each Block Test .....
then please, borrow and pay 100s of thousands of dollars to attend this School.
As a doctor, professional, and a teacher I'm in awe at how such unprofessionalism have survived the test of time. I've seen friends attending this Pharmacy School and their stories are hurtful to hear. Many are International students, fearful of their status and retaliation, so they don't dare to speak up.
Once I was told by a beloved teacher that "your failure is my failure; meaning that I've failed to teach and inspire you".
Most Teachers at this school are busy doing something else and this job is so that they can say there're affiliated with a University in their resume. They don't know how to teach. Mostly just read the books word by word like a story podcast, then create a test that results in "FAILURES". Students claim that these so called teachers couldn't pass their own tests.
Yet, there are a few good teachers but definitely not many. No one expects for the Pharm School to be easy, but this is boarder line abusive.
If you are still skeptical, then walk the hallways of Western and USC. You'll immediately feel the difference. In one you hear laughters, in the other (guess which one), you'll encounter zombies, a Halloween Special.
