The technician proceeded to tell me he did an evaluation of what was wrong and the fee would be $75.00. Um.. no. I already know what is wrong with it, I only need a quote to place it. We are not repairing a 21 year old furnace. They backed stepped the service fee since there was an obvious miss-communication Their quote was $1,500.00 more than the company our property manager uses. So we went with them. He did not secure the faucet to the utility sink underneath with the screws so it was moving back and forth, 4. He unscrewed my fire alarm because the heat from soldering made it go off and he never put it back on!! 5. The left side is leaking where the faucet screws into the copper pipe. 6. He asked a "favor" that I give him 5 stars to get business with a story of how Google took down 150 reviews and he was sick last year. Now, the reason I chose him over other people is because of his reviews of " doing quality work, picking up after himself, competitive pricing " and now I feel like I got duped because I did not experience any of that , I feel like he may be a phony. Mike was nice but when I'm paying for a service I shouldn't have to pick up after you. Granted I understand maybe he wasn't small enough/ older to get under the utility sink and screw the faucet in place but he could have told me. There is no excuse for not screwing the fire alarm back in! What if I were elderly and was unable to clean up the metal pieces everywhere, screw in my faucet or screw my fire alarm back in. Of course I did not know any of this was an issue until I went to actually use the faucet - it moved forward and backward, the metal was all over and I look up and the fire alarm unplugged. This was not worth calling him back for as I could fix it and I'm not going to have him fix the leaking pipe either as I do not trust any longer.

We had a little bit of a plumbing emergency this week at my fiance's house, and when he called his…read moreusual plumbing company they said their first available appointment was in a WEEK. I called a company I had used before, Precision Plumbing, and they said they could be there that day; however, later in the day, they asked if they could outsource to an affiliate of theirs, which ended up being Zoom Drain. Precision had guaranteed me an arrival time after 5pm; I received a text from Zoom Drain saying they'd text me 30-45 minutes before they arrive, and Precision told me Zoom would be there 2-6pm. I received a call around 2pm and they showed up around 2:30pm. Wyatt, the technician that showed up (there were two people, I believe, though) was able to quickly diagnose the problem and fix it. They were in and out within half an hour. The total price was $666 (ominous, ha) and that included the time and the work - they had to move both toilets to get to the pipes, my fiance said (I was working downstairs during that time), unclog both, and then put both back. Would use Zoom Drain again - I see they're in Clarkston, same as Precision Plumbing (Troy area, but their tech was in Clarkston that day too), but they were able to come to my fiance's house in Farmington Hills which was nice.
