On a recent trip with the kids we decided that we would eat at the cabin one night and grill some steaks, corn, and potatoes. What better way to celebrate being at a cabin, right? That is why we ended up at Hart's. This is like many small groceries stores you find in small towns throughout the country. It is what I remember groceries stores used to be like so that nostalgia always gets me. Does it have the best selection? No. Does it have everything you need? Probably not. But, is it still a great place to go? Absolutely. We were able ti find everything we needed for our meal and then some. We even picked up some firewood and smore's supplies. Heck yeah! If you're eating or shopping and the bathroom smells like a gas chamber, then that detracts from the experience. This Walmart also has a lot of claw machines, which makes it a definite go-back. The home-made fries were potatoey perfection. My grandmother passed around 1982. If she were still here, I'd be forced to tell her someone makes a better chocolate pie than her. At least I avoided the cussing and getting walloped by a broom. The crust was buttery and of perfect firmness. The chocolate cream was covered in heavenly whipped cream, I assume homemade.
