All of the foods that we ordered from salad,appetizers and entrees are very good. For our salad this is a must : Berry and Burrata . Appetizers: Birria Quesadilla and Harper's Traditional Wings. We are a group of 4 and we were able to share the salad and appetizers. For our entrees: Birria Pasta( huge serving and tastes good), fish and chips, PBJ Burger and Chipotle Ribeye Steak. We went to Harper's Table for lunch, it was a beautiful day outside so we opted to eat in the back outside dining area. It's a large space with plenty of lawn for the kids to run around on while we waited for our food- a relief because they otherwise would have been nagging us at the table. Our server's name was Luke, he was friendly and attentive. We ordered the spritzer flight, cheese curds and big pretzel for appetizers. They came out fast and as we requested, with the kid's orders. The spritzer flight was delicious, my favorite of the four was the Aperol Spritz (a little sweeter and less bitter than other places) and the Raspberry Spritz. The Hugo was very refreshing and Limoncello was unfortunately not my favorite, but the other three made up for it and then some! The cheese curds were crunchy and came with a delicious ranch sauce for dipping, and the big pretzel was huge, salty and doughy- the cheese sauce was good with it but we also tried the honey mustard my son got with his chicken fingers and liked that combo even more! For my lunch I had a burger off the day's specials menu, it was the "A1 Burger" which was cooked perfectly and made better by the A1 inspired aioli, Gouda cheese, etc. The fries were good and crispy. Always past by here on 31 but first time sipping in to meet a friend. Really friendly service! Cozy set up for the holidays and the cutest holiday drink specials! I got "All the jingle ladies" and it was delicious! It came with an ornament too. The yummy yummy sandwich was LARGE, like it was a little hard to eat with your hands. Traveling for work and found a decent bar to sit at solo. It was quite empty, but I didn't let that stop me, I don't expect much for a Wednesday night. The bartender was delightful, friendly smile, and kind demeanor. I opted for the shave brussels sprout salad with steak. I was very pleased with my decision and unfortunately saddened that I didn't not think to take a photo. I was so hungry. The bar was very comfortable and I enjoyed a peaceful meal. This is definitely on my list of places to return to now that I know I will be coming to the area often. read more

It was good. We ended up here because of a power outage at our original destination. There is plenty of seating (both regular tables, booths and high-tops) and a large bar with a couple of TVs on the wall. Nice selection of beers on tap and bottled. My husband, two granddaughters and son in law met for a weekday dinner, arriving at approximately 5:30 pm. We started off outdoors, but it was a buggy humid summer evening. After 15 minutes waiting for menus and a waiter we decided to go indoors. The hostess seated us right away with menus and silverware, but another fifteen minutes passed before a young man came over as our waiter. Because we knew what our appetizers were and our children's meals were we immediately ordered. Again we waited for drinks to be served. It seems our waiter saw two friends seated near us and needed to speak with them at length about whatever they were doing for the last month (I was getting really upset over with the indifference to us), so I flagged down another waiter who brought my grandchildren their apple juices. Our dinners and appetizers were brought over after another 15 minutes. My hubby's wings weren't anything special and you really can't screw up a Cobb salad so I judged the food as mediocre. My son in law had the buffalo chicken salad which was spicy. Not sure I would ever come back after this lackluster meal and experience. I've come here once or twice for lunch when I worked in the area around 2006. When we moved into the area last year, I wanted to try as many new places as possible. The first time we came here was during the summer shortly after we moved in. The parking lot was packed and they had outdoor seating. I ordered the Tuscan chicken wrap and my wife ordered the penne and meatballs (listed on their menu as being a Harper's classic). The food was out in less than five minutes (they must make a lot of the penne). Something about the building feels like it used to be something else back in the day. We've been back a couple more times and have not had any issues. The staff is very friendly and quick, considering they're running around a lot. read more

Went back to Harper's Table after a few years of not going. We used to love this place and loved eating on the patio. The food and service were excellent. We've been in the restaurant before, but it gets very noisy at night. There is little no sound deadening material to prevent the sound from traveling. Once again the food was very good, but we stopped going because of the noise. Today, we went to lunch with our service dog. The owner was very nasty and challenged whether our dog was really as service dog, which she is not really supposed to do. She was very confrontational about it, even though our dog goes everywhere and has been in many restaurants and is never a problem. I'm not sure why the owner chose to confront us, but it wasn't a smart thing to do. The service was great and the food was great, but we won't be going back. Everything about this place is A+ amazing, service, food, the atmosphere all perfect. We stopped here on whim on roadtrip back home to NY from Hershey PA with our two young daughters after being in the car for 2 hours and after our last day at Hershey so we were all tired and starving. The hostesses and waitstaff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Our girls felt super comfortable, ate happily and my husband and I got to enjoy some good eats. This is a three star review with a one-star asterisk. First, if you come on a Saturday night, call very early to get a reservation. I waited well over an hour for a table, after being quoted 35 minutes by an overwhelmed front-end manager. My party of four was finally seated behind the bar, next to two hi-top tables with a table of adults and a table of their pre-teens who screamed at the top of their lungs for our entire meal while their parents ignored them. Our waiter was very young and was so busy he did not wait to hear our orders, turning away in the middle of an order, a bad recipe for getting it right. He brought my wife her salad dressing only after two requests, when it was 80% finished. He told us he would bring a check while we were still eating, prompting me to reply that I might want dessert, a concept that seemed to shock him. I understood why when the two desserts arrived and they were the wrong ones. I tipped him anyway. The food aims high and lands somewhere in the general vicinity of where it was intended. It's a bit greasy, the result of an overwhelmed kitchen. The salads and wraps need a bit more care, but they are good. Pizzas and burgers are handled well. The beer list is excellent. I am writing this review from the point of view of a parent of children with food allergies. My daughters have severe allergies to multiple different foods. They enjoy going out, but it can be a nerve-racking experience at times to try new restaurants. Their basketball team was having a fundraiser at Harpers and they wanted to attend. I stopped in earlier in the day to talk with the manager. The manager was very nice but immediately said it would be better to talk with the chef Niecho. Niecho came out and was super friendly, accommodating, and ready to help! He was genuinely concerned with the girl's allergies but made it a point to say he wanted them to be able to enjoy the restaurant like everyone else. He planned out a menu with me of some of their favorite foods. When we came for dinner, Niecho came out to talk with the girls and us. Helped them choose food and then prepared it safe and tasty for them. They had wings, steak, fries, and drinks. It took 15 minutes to get our drink orders and I couldn't even guess how long it took to actually get our food. Its a bad sign when you only get 1 straw for 2 drinks. The food was meh at best. Definitely nothing to write home about. The service was absolutely horrible. Everything was just standard-fare. My burger was okay, although if you're familiar with the area, you'll know that superior burgers can be found for identical prices. My girlfriend was annoyed that her bun started falling apart almost immediately, which is never a good sign. French fries were fine, but again, simply fine is usually not enough to impress me these days. In short, don't go in here expecting anything special, because you won't find it. read more

This restaurant is a family favorite of ours! The food is always a hit. We are big fans of the whipped ricotta app or the thai brussel sprouts! The staff is super nice and accommodating, even when it seems very busy they are always happy to serve you. The outside dining area is very nicely set up and covid safe. There was one day we went that it was a bit windy and menus/garbage was blown around the outdoor patio, which could have been cleaned up sooner. I know this is a new business and I hope the owners take my opinion seriously. I believe my insights will help. Food - once delivered correctly, it was deliciously seasoned. I had the Patty Melt. Burger was delicious but onions were sweated (aka soft and white) vs. sautéed (brown and carmelized). Originally my fries were barely warm, which was surprising because my husband had a burger and his fries were piping hot. So they came out at the same time and the kitchen just dumped the "old" fries on my plate. Not cool. Fries were replaced with hot fries. My husband ordered a cheeseburger with AMERICAN cheese and got a hamburger instead. When it came back from the kitchen, I was halfway through my Melt. We really wanted to eat together. My husband also had a Cesar salad and he said it was good. The selection of beer is interesting. We had the Kane Head High and it was crisp with some citrus notes. As for ambience, I like a lot of the decorations but the lighting is so bright, I believe I could easily perform intricate surgery. Any chance you can tone it down a bit?
