    I am leaving this review on behalf of a relative after they told me about their experience today…read more After spending many hours, on two separate days in their markham location, I was ready to place the order this afternoon. (No problem paying for a quality product, but this felt different) After finalizing the fabric choice, style, size and other details (including the stitching and legs) the price was provided. The price was much higher than expected and I asked as to why it was that high and not the price as discussed on prior visits. Was initially told $5250 for the sofa, then $1800 for leather, plus HST. The final price ended up being well over $8000. When I asked if the price can do any better - the staff member advised that they already did the best that he could. I advised that this is over the expected $8000 price. I requested to think about it, as I would not immediately have the additional funds at this point he offered to split the delivery fee ($150). That was quite a surprise, as he had previously just advised me, multiple times, that he could not adjust the price at all. At this point I requested to not the order number as I would have to seriously consider whether or not the sofa would be purchased. At this point the salesman simply got up and started about his business in the showroom, completely ignoring me and not even acknowledging my departure. The chance of purchasing the item has certainly now lessened after the treatment of the sales staff. A call has been placed with the owner (Bill) to discuss the issue and we will see how it will be addressed - but at this point it certainly is clear that this staff member (and possibly the company) needs to learn to to treat customers with honesty and respect. Hopefully the owner responds to the concerns and he is not the reason that his staff treat perspective customers (not sure how likely that is now) in this manner. Quite shameful the way they acted. I would certainly not send my parents to their shop based on this experience. Will update after / if the owner calls to address what occurred. Certainly hope that they do - it would clearly indicate the true customer service level of the company.
