We were very pleased with the result: the people are extremely knowledgeable, they suggested small vents as we had chosen a leather which we later realized was a great idea, they added piping, which made the chairs look great. We considered the price to be very reasonable, they met the time estimate they gave us, and were professional to deal with. We wouldn't hesitate to return to them again.

After asking around, took them to TJ, who spent as much time as we needed discussing fabric options. With his advice, we found a fabric that we liked (very different from the original, but works wonderfully well). A few weeks later we got the chairs back, better than new. His advice was extremely worthwhile, including assistance choosing a suitable colour for piping. On time, on budget, better than new. Would we use him again? We are about to! TJ did a wonderful job, and having looked at a couple of videos of how to reupholster wingbacks, I am amazed that it can be done at all, much less as beautifully as he did.

The highest recommended stripper-refinisher in Kitchener refused to do our table top because the furniture was made in China, saying it would be a labour-intensive and time-consuming job which they wanted no part of. Eventually we discovered Grand Valley Furniture Restoration in Georgetown, ON. After contacting the company, "Russ" told us he could and would do the job and gave us a very reasonable quote. We had Scott, from Grand Valley, pick up our table top and it was returned, right on schedule two weeks later, looking better than brand new.
