I was not happy when I left after she did the work. I had my doubts and she told me that it looked good and she seemed very frustrated and in a rush to get me out of there. I was uncomfortable so of course I said yes fine they look good. But I hated them from the moment I got it from that chair. Today I went in for my final touch up appointment to see if there's anything she could do to make it better, but all she could do was tell me that they're perfect when they are absolutely awful. She wanted to fill them in more!! I am so glad I got up from the chair and told her that she no longer needs to be doing anything more to my brows. Best decision I ever made. Why would I let her do one more single stroke? And she tried to tell me that they look like that because it is hard to work over past microblading THAT I HAD DONE 6 YEARS AGO!! I told her that if that was going to be an issue she should've been a little lighter on her strokes and warned me. Not to mention the color is blackish gray. She only uses one dark color according to all the other horrible reviews I've read about her. She annihilated my face. All they care about is getting your money, but this place will not be around forever. Word spreads and client satisfaction is pretty important when it comes to running a business. I told her that my dermatologist and my doctor who is a plastic surgeon and does my Botox was appalled by her work. She said that they don't know this work and they are not professionals in this business. Please give me a break. It takes very little time to get certified in carving somebody's brows and filling them with pigment compared to being a doctor. These doctors know what they're talking about when it comes to a face. Can I just say, I LOVE MY BROWS As Houston was shutting down for COVID back in March, I started to do my research. The most important outcome for the look of my eyebrows was to look natural. I came across Permetika Cosmetic and viewed their website. I saw the videos of the news anchor Dominique Sanchez. I have always thought she is beautiful inside and out. Dominique's eyebrows by Connie looked natural so I was sold. I decided to book my appointment in early June. I went to her new beautiful location in Magnolia. Now some people might complain about the drive but I was thinking about flying to LA to get my brows done but instead, I found Connie. I am glad I did. When I met Connie, she was very sweet and professional. She would observe my brows while I was talking with expressions. Brows frame your face and it's important that MY brows fit MY face and not a one size fits all stencil brow (which by the way looks ridiculous). Another important issue was sterilization of equipment and she was very over the top keeping things clean. We both wore masks while she did the procedure. Connie is an artist and the best in Houston. I will not go to anyone else and in fact, I will see her for the touch up in September. By the way, I never write reviews on Google or Yelp because let's face it, I am lazy. However, I think it is important to share my experience because when you are doing your research you need to read people's experiences, especially when you are microblading your brows. My next appointment they were there but they were 'out of dysport' so used Botox and they told me it was Botox when I went to pay and it was twice as much, but Botox doesn't work on me for some reason that's why I asked for dysport.... I ended up having to go back for dysport. She didn't charge me for it, but also didn't do all the areas I'd previously paid for Botox on. (Botox is more than twice the price of dysport) Most recently I booked an appointment and was once again 5 minutes away in my Uber and got a text saying they forgot my appointment I had just made earlier the same day, and I'd need to come back tomorrow.. So once again, I wasted my time and money attempting to use this service provider. All in all my experiences with this business have been a huge waste of time and money.
