I made an appt for a consult in December of 2021 to talk about microblading, this is when she had an office in San Antonio. Since then she got married and moved to Houston. My brows had thinned out as I aged and I am sure from the 90s too as well as they were turning blonde. I also have weird, wired, think brow hair (not thick brows, just the hair follicle itself) During the consult she asked what or if I were on medications and I told her yes, just a high blood pressure med and a cholesterol pill, and a depression/anxiety med. She gave me her recommendations and we were good to go. I made an appt for the treatment in Jan of 2022. She also told me no caffeine for like a week before, I couldn't get the brows wet, no sweating, etc. Which I followed to the T. My brows looked good for like 4 days and then when I went for the touch up, they had totally disappeared. Jess did not have a clue as to why but did my brows again and only charged me $150 for just the price of the fill in. I went back a month later and my brows still disappeared. She seemed to not know why. I had followed all the instructions. Her website clearly states: What is microblading and how does it work? Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique that uses a handheld tool to create fine, hair-like strokes in the eyebrows. Pigment is deposited into the skin's upper layers for a natural-looking result. Is microblading suitable for all skin types? Microblading can be tailored to various skin types, but it's important to consult with our professionals to determine the best approach for your unique skin. It is recommended for dry skin types. But yet she had no clue WHY I didn't have brows after paying $500! She even did a little boy with alopecia who had missing brows and it worked. I was extremely disappointed and upset. I did message her and she offered to again to it for $150, but here is my thing. This is YOUR business. We had a consult. I came for my appointments. IF you don't know what happened I think the right thing to do is to refund my money. I didn't even ask for all of it because she still used her time. I asked her to refund half of it and she refused. For that, I will never back her again. Maybe she needs to look into the product she used or get more education on it because I find it funny that she does this on all ages, all walks of life, all skin types but I am the only one that it didn't take on and you can't refund even part of my money? I am a single woman on one check and it took a lot to spend that kind of money on myself in one sitting. I paid $600 total and I would like at least half of that back since it did not work and you did not have any explanation as to why.

When checking the pricing, she kept looking at her phone but would quickly lock the screen before I could actually see the breakdown. Later, I checked online and saw the front piece listed around the $170 range without tax ( they don't tax you at all after purchasing). Even if the back was an additional charge of $15, it still seems like I may have been overcharged by about $5-10. After I left, I called to ask about the pricing and was told the back post was not included -- which was never explained during the purchase. What also wasn't explained is that the back post itself is not gold either. Had I known that beforehand, I honestly wouldn't have purchased it because I have seen both the front and back in matching gold for around the same price. Now I'm stuck with a mismatched jewelry piece, it's not actually fully gold, and it's probably final sale. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of transparency regarding both the pricing and the jewelry details.
