I responded to the excessive marketing, and booked an introductory botox session in the summer if 2025. Big mistake. Excessive texts, warning me of being charged $50 if I miss my appointment in EIGhT WEEKS. Stop. I had it in my calendar. Send a reminder a few days before. Do not start bombarding people two months before! When I called to discuss the pricing and the guerrilla messaging, I was met with confusion, disconnect and overall poor communication skills. I was given the run around ad nauseam. Other competitors in the same area had better initial prices, and my inquiry was logical. Just answer the question- do you price match? Otherwise, I will take my business elsewhere. Inflexibility at the onset is not a good sign. I cannot even remember all the minutiae and circular conversations I had with inept employees, who basically seem to rely on AI to do their job for them. Zero follow through. The proverbial "final straw" was a "dropped" phone call. In fact, the "provider" I had been calmly and methodically speaking with two minutes before was "busy." She never called back. Drama weeks BEFORE my appointment just because I asked a question and also asked that they stop their incessant texts and emails with conflicting information. More drama trying to get a refund. I never stepped foot in this place. If it was stressful booking and asking a question, I cannot imagine being in that actual office. Clearly, poor management and inept employees who do not listen, read or follow through. These are not the kind of people I want injecting a toxin into my face! So, you got your "feedback." Hopefully, you will learn a lesson to cease your incessant blanket emails and hire actual humans who reach out, answer and return calls and authentically communicate.

I finally got a callback and was squeezed in for a 2PM Sunday appointment, which did work with my schedule but honestly, I wish I had just skipped it altogether. Let me break this down: Upon arrival, I was greeted nicely. The spa looks upscale and posh, but don't let appearances fool you. My esthetician was sweet but clearly inexperienced--she admitted she was just starting out in skincare. She offered little to no guidance on my skin type, routine, or actual skincare concerns. The "facial" was nothing more than a quick cleanse, some vibration wand gadget, and a red light mask. When I asked why she was using the tools, she couldn't explain anything beyond, "You'll get a better explanation after... with the specialist." Spoiler: that "specialist" turned out to be a pushy salesperson in a lab coat pretending to be medical staff. The facial lasted about 30-45 minutes, mostly with her aimlessly waving those gimmicky tools over my skin. I paid $60 for the treatment and tipped $20--$80 total, for a service that was barely above what you'd get from a mall kiosk. But here's where things got shady. I stuck around for the "Skincare Specialist" pitch, and wow--talk about high-pressure sales. Their entire focus was pushing overpriced products, not skincare. The star item? A red light wand they claim is "clinic-grade" (more like Temu/AliExpress knockoff) for a jaw-dropping $7,000. Yes. $7,000. For something they probably bought wholesale for $20. At best. They even layered more products on my face after my facial, defeating the whole point of the treatment I just had only to "prove" the effectiveness of the wand and their $300 eye cream. I ended up buying the eye cream out of convenience because I had run out, but let's be real: it's worth maybe $50 tops. Nothing special, nothing I'd recommend. But here's the real red flag: They asked for my health insurance information. That's when it clicked. This isn't just a bad spa--it's potentially a fraudulent operation engaging in "Phantom Billing". That's when healthcare providers bill insurance for services or equipment never actually provided. It's illegal and unethical, and it happens more than you think in shady "Medical Spa" setups. In my opinion, Miliv Med Spa & Facials is a scam sales trap disguised as a luxury spa. No real skincare expertise. No true estheticians or dermatologists on staff that I could see. Just overpriced products, aggressive sales tactics, and questionable business practices. Save your money. Save your skin. And absolutely do not hand over your health insurance info....
