They also took great care to ensure that we would still have access to our kitchen and bedrooms without having to go into the construction zone. Within the original time estimate, the work was completed and we couldn't be happier. No shortcuts were taken and they ensured that everything was done properly. I Know A Guy Renovations is amazing! We've always wanted our…read morebasement finished, but always thought the cost would be too high so we never pursued it further. However, once the pandemic hit and we found ourselves spending so much more time inside, we decided to test the waters and get a few estimates so that our family of five could potentially enjoy more indoor space. We had about 5 different companies come out and give us estimates, and Wilmer's was by far the most detail oriented and reasonably priced. We signed on the dotted line, and almost immediately Wilmer and his guys started the job. They worked tirelessly every day (Saturdays included) for 4 weeks straight and transformed our 1200 square foot dark, drab basement to a bright, fun, and elegant space. Even better, they completed the job in record time, exceeding our wildest expectations. My wife and I are so incredibly happy with how everything turned out and our 3 kids absolutely love all the extra room they now have to play . That said, I can't recommend Power Home Contractors highly enough--they've truly made our basement finishing dreams come true!

They were very reasonable on the variables, (negotiation of "look what we found" can be stressful) as happens on mya complete re-do jobs. They made it easier by being what I consider to be fair and equitable. Their workmanship is not just top notch, but their attention to detail is high. So, the edges of the pencil trim are straight. The flawless job of spackling and the aligning everything they installed was perfect enough for my watchful eye. Great Job. Highly Recommended.

I was helping an old friend to renovate her 1960's home. I was not living in her area and did not…read moreknow any contractors in her area. I connected with IC Home Design and the owner Horia. The first job was to take down and rebuild a very old worn out deck. The job completed on time and at the price quote. The craftsmenship was impressive. I then added the ronovation of a shed used for gardening supplies. Again the workmanship and finished product was outstanding. By this point I was completely confident in the quality of work done by IC Home Design. Next was taking up an old kitchen floor with several of flooring including old 4 x4 tile. IC Home Design quickly removed flooring and prepared the surface for new wall to wall tile which he also installed. I wanted the new kitchen cabinets to sit on the new tile. Ultimately he installed the new cabinets and finished off the kitchen install including new appliances, replacing a window with rotted wood and adding some additional electrical outlets. Next up IC Homes completely updated a secondary bathroom and then total renovated the master bathroom. Later IC Home found a floor refinisher to sand down the original hardwood floors and stain the floors which looked like new when he finished. All this activity took place while my eldery friend was still living in the home. Horia was very considerate of her living in the midst of all this mayhem and did little things to help her manage her way thorugh it all. I can't speak highly enough of the the quality of work done by Horia and his company I C Home Design. He is a true craftsemen who is a finished carpenter and knows how home construction should be done. His background includes new home construction and several cerifications that are important to home renovations. He is always a gentleman and a thoughful person. i you are looking for the extra low prices IC Home Design probably is not your contractor but if you want work that you can be proud of Horia and IC Home Design is a wonderful contractor to chose for your projects.

The original timeline of 3 weeks ended up being close to 6...and the job still isn't done (they disappeared after receiving final payment.) The owner of the company was rarely on-site to work or to supervise. When he did show up it was always hours later than promised. Many serious (and stupid) mistakes were made during the renovation process. They were corrected in the end, but not without ramifications (e.g. a hole in our OTHER bathroom and a leak in our roof.) Get It Done Home Improvements promised to secure all permits and arrange inspections, as is standard. Neither was done. And when we questioned him, he lied to us. Overall the work was sloppy, rushed and not completed as promised. And now we have to hire another contractor to finish the job.
